Also that's what the aftermarket is for

I could see em as an option, but I've seen a lot of rather portly STi drivers in my day

Stay strong - I'll keep my fingers crossed as well.

Was right ticked off today as well,I found some deep scratches on the hood each about half an inch long, right into the clear coat. A gravel truck passed me last week spraying damn gravel everywhere, I thought I had escaped damage but no such luck.
Cheers Pat.
I guess it's time to employ the services of the local dent wizzard. I've also got a couple of door dings on the driver door that need fixing. From the height of them, I'm guessing that an SUV/truck was the culprit.

If it were mine I would go right nuts. If it is where she parks at work, she has to have an idea who is doing it.
Cheers Pat.
It's our understanding that recovery from this surgery will not be as easy as was the first. I know she won't be allowed to drive for a week.
So now the fun starts...
Bob
Rest assured that both of you are in my prayers for a safe and smooth surgery & recovery.
Jim
Hang in there and know you are in our thoughts.

Any how, I've been in touch with Bob, and praying along with many folks here.
Recaro - I can't properly fit in the EVO's seats so I can't sign that petition with a clear conscience, but I say go for it, maybe Subaru will make those an option at least.
Cheers Pat.
Bob, best wishes for your wife and you. I sort of know what you are dealing with. A technician spotted something on my wife's mammogram last November. She started with a needle then a surgical biopsy, followed by a questionable diagnosis calling for a plan of preventative drugs for the next five years. Where I work for a healthcare system in NH, I was able have all the records transferred, and get a second opinion with one of the best physicians in this field. With confirmation from an associate at Beth Israel in Boston, my wife was in the clear, and moved back to regular yearly checkups.
Time for some catch-up:
Wes, congrats on the addition to the family.
Pat, Mikey says hi, and always looks for you on chat night.
Dr. Tom, I hope it is raining there, as the weather in Boston is fantastic, and the sox just may win!
LWC, Brendaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Frank, sweet ride with that Benz.
Mod Bob, cool blog.
And hello to anyone else I missed. Rob M.
Thanks for the props on the blog rob. (It's all Dub Schwartz really...LOL)
Hope everyone can make the Crew chat tonight!!
Yes, it's pouring rain here. I am glad the weather there is nice. Maybe global warming is real?
I wouldn't mind seeing the Sox win too!
Bob, still praying for Deb. It's better they find all this now and treat it thoroughly than to miss it and have more problems later. She will probably need more treatment however.

A good afternoon to get some Dub Schwartz sketches done :P
Yes there's a reason why convertibles aren't so popular here in Seattle during the winter!
But at least we have all these green things you might have seen picutres of called trees! :P
Yeah, we had winds up to 50mph along with rain- lotsa fun to be out in!
Not looking to be a good winter for us.
Hope you're still enjoying your convertible, Frank!
tom
Hey we have trees too! They're just called cactuses :P
I actually have several fruit trees in my yard. Nothing like sitting out on the porch on a Sunday morning in January reading the paper, eating the grapefruit you just picked and drinking fresh squeezed orange juice :shades:

I teach a college class on Thursday from 5:30-8:00 in Elkhart which is just north of where the tornado went through ... I let them go 15-20 minutes early because we could "see" some of the weather system headed our way ... as I drove home the storm was passing just south of me, and the lightning show was magnificent ...
thanks for asking, but I'm really just fine ... and I've been "closer" to tornados before ... just glad they keep skirting around me!
One of the counter balances to living in a pizza oven for 4 months a year is that Arizona really isn't susceptible to much in the way of natural disasters. No tornados, no hurricanes, no floods and no earthquakes

Do you have an automatic sprinkler system at your house? When I visited Tucson it seemed like everyone did.
Just got back from Tampa. Boy, I don't think I saw a single Subaru the whole time I was there!
We went to a wedding and stayed at a nice resort, even got good weather considering it's almost November. We hit Busch Gardens and Adventure Island water park, and had a nice mini-vacation.
Our rental was a Honda Accord (the outgoing model) so I may write up a capsule review later on.
The Mazda Club Chat is on tonight. The chat room opens at 8:45PM ET Hope to see YOU there! Check out the schedule
Actually the plural of cactus can be: cactuses, cacti, or simply cactus :P
Since this area gets less than 10 inches of rain a year, in-ground automatic sprinkler systems are a must if you want to have a lawn. However, there's a push to convince people to convert their yards to low-water using xeriscapes (prolonged drought conditions are even affecting life in the desert).

Quick question of I may. My wife and I are looking into vacations next year and are checking out timeshares in the Scottsdale area. Is May or June a nice time to come out, or is it getting too hot at that time of the year?
I figured it's easiest to ask someone living in the area, rather than jsut looking at numbers on a website.
Thanks,
Mark
Sorry, just recalling earlier visits when we were stuck in a car without A/C.
The Subaru Crew Chat is on tonight. The chat room opens at 8:45PM ET Hope to see YOU there! Check out the schedule

As a working professional I hate it. Give me 40-70 degrees, maybe even 65 on the high side.
May is still pretty nice (avg lo/hi = 58/92) but by June it's regularly going over 100 degrees. Jul and Aug are the two months to avoid since that's when it's both hot AND humid.
I know for a lot of people 92 sounds darn hot but with almost no humidity it's actually quite pleasant. If it does get too warm for you, Flagstaff is only about two hours away and the temps there are normally 25 to 30 degrees cooler!
