Davenow, have you checked autofair.com? They are in Manchester, NH. Out of frustration of not being able to the the configuration we wanted for a decent price locally, I got in touch with them (I have relative there, thinking of flying over and driving back if the price is right), and was able to get a discount of almost $2900 off MSRP for an XLE w/ pkg#12&CF, albeit with a 4-5 weeks lead time. Decided to go with an Indiana dealer for less saving but also less logistic hassle.
Last time I checked, Darcars in Maryland advertizes their sale prices without listing the $540 freight charge, even though their MSRP listings include it, creating a false impression for an otherwise smaller discount off the sticker.
I am sure one could also find it by reviewing another auto purchasing Consumer Guide.
I don't have the AWD, but my understanding is that it is fulltime and can not be switched off for gas savings.
DAR Cars did that when we purchased....offering $3500 off MSRP but adding back in the $540 freight, effectively reducing the discount to $2960. I wish they would handle it differently, but is seems to be a habit of dealers to compare discounted prices without freight to Sticker prices that include freight.
I am sure one could also find it by reviewing the various auto purchasing consumer guides.
If you can find a CE 7 with Option 3, I would take the deal. You cannot find them in the Northeast. I called Toyota and they wont tell you what region has the car. Toyota tells you to call the dealer and speak with the manager. All the dealers want to do is sell you an LE7 with option 7 which is a lot more money. I really like this car but Toyota has their option packages screwed up. They put convinience before saftey. If I could get over the dash in the Quest I would buy it in a second and tell Toyota to stick it. I will probably wind up with a LE 7 package 4 and give up the VSC.
" You may include the dealership name and city/state where you purchased, but NO direct links to the dealership site. Also, please do not post salespeople names, phone numbers or email contact information."
Suggestion to defeat that secrecy: Go to the Toyota web site and look for dealers by zip code, even out your your state. Then e-mail them asking them specific questions. If they send you a "canned" response, send it back to them and tell them to stick to your questions. Some of them will respond with the specifics.
We ordered an XLE FWD in Arctic Frost w/ Stone Interior, Package #5 (which comes w/ headphones) and then it also charged us $66 dealer cost for pair of headphones...is this a second set?
Also got wheel locks,Preferred Accessory Package Z1, and $187 cost for Pearl Color
List Price on vehicle including the $510 destination charge was $37,575
We are buying it at $33,699
The only thing they charge extra for on top of this is a Title and Doc fee of $27 and Administration Fee of $94
That's a savings off list of about $3900
What did you do for an extended warranty? We want to get the 7/100K warranty because we plan on keeping this van for at least 6 years. Do you have any recommendations on where to purchase a warranty? Thanks in advance!! Does anybody know if the Sienna comes with the "threshold" protector which is the black rubbery cover on top of back bumper so the paint doesn't get scratched up when loading stuff in back? One dealer listed it as a $60 option but most vans I have seen have it on them.
"...You should be able to get the Toyota Platinum 100K miles/84 months $0 deductible extended warranty for no more than $950 from the dealer; some are claiming they paid as low as $750, but $850-$950 seems the typical range."
Right, although the finance manager at one dealership told me he sells this warranty for about $1250. (Yum. Nice fat $500 profit, I suspect.) I have no reason to doubt what he said, so $850-$950 is probably not typical!
I also suspect some of the low-cost deals, like the $750 one posted here last week, may have been subsidized a little by other parts of the new vehicle purchase, i.e., a higher price for the vehicle or a low-ball on the trade (or both!!).
That said, figure true dealer cost for any of the manufacturer's extended warranties at about 50% of the suggested retail price listed on the Financial Services page of Toyota.com. The list price for the Sienna 7yr/100K, 0 ded warranty is $1425, so dealer cost should be about $700 (or a little higher). Negotiate hard from there, but expect dealers to quote their cost much higher than that, and in a wide range.
I paid $950 for this particular warranty. However, the next time I buy one, I'm going to work the deal a lot harder, thanks to the posts on this board, and experience with my own purchase. You'll do well at $850 (my opinion, only).
I guess I paid a little more for my ext warranty, 7yr/100,000 $0 deductible for 1180.00. As with all their vehicles, there is no negotiating on warrantys. Since I got a good deal on the van, I'm gonna let it go. I suppose I could search for a better deal, but I HATE negotiating...so I say good enough!
By the way, my vehicle is listed on their website for 800.00 more than I paid. Salesman said it had gone up, but immediately assured me that I was getting the lower price (not that I was worried...but they didn't try to pull any funny stuff).
I'm not sure about the headphones, mine didn't come with them. I'd ask, if the package you ordered comes with headphones, it doesn't make sense for them to charge you separately.
Are you in the NH area? You may have posted but I forget.

The deals sound great! It's just i would like to help our poor CT economy here? maybe not!

FANTASTIC DEAL! That's what i want!
The price on website + 100.00 Processing fee
+ 540.00 freight + 15.00 temporary tag fee= total price paid. I live in michigan so I'll pay sales tax and fee to transfer plates there.
"It appears the dealer cost on the 7/100k platinum is about $770. It is available easily from a Toyota dealer in the mid atlantic for $810 ($40 over cost) without negotiation. Details are posted on another forum on the internet, but it is against the user agreement to post the link here."
Thanks much; good post. Yes or no, will I find the link to the other forum thru a Google search?
$770 is exactly the figure one finance manager gave me for his cost on the 7yr/100K, 0 deductible warranty. Two others gave me very different, and much higher, amounts.
So, who to believe? That's why, based on my own experience, as well as that of others who've recently posted here, I've suggested figuring dealer cost on any of Toyota's extended warranties at about 50% of Toyota's list price, and negotiating from there.
I wasn't aware of it, but it's good to know you can get this warranty for $810 thru a dealer online, without the hassles of negotiating, no less. (DEALERS TAKE NOTE!) I'm sure that dealerships sell this warranty all day for hundreds more, and most buyers figure that they are getting a good deal if they get a discount of $100-$200 off list. If only they knew.
So, henchforth, anyone who wants this particular warranty should pay no more than $810. QED.
Any thoughts on the deal, or on buying a van with that many miles?
The van did have 300 miles on it already. It apparently was the only van available for test driving for the month of December. I would have preferred one without any miles, but that would have been $700 more.
Also purchased the 7/75K platinum ($0 deductable) for $495. I'm not sure if I could do better than that somewhere else or not.
Overall, very pleased with the deal and with our limited experience with the van.
Send me an email for more info, if you like.
Good luck with your purchase.

I will probably go with Autofair. They are checking on the same car for $250 over invoice and $121 application fee. Note that Autofair originally said $100 over invoice in email then when I called them they said price has raised to $250 over invoice....wish me luck

Two other Sacto dealers each have 24-30 in inventory, including a number of XLE Lim's. (One now has 12 of those!)
One Bay Area dealer between SF and San Jose has an inventory of 46 (yes, 46)! Other dealers in the area are likely also flush.
So, excellent deals should be for the asking, even on vehicles that roll off a delivery truck today. The "turn rate", an essentially meaningless term anyway, is even more irrelevant now.
If I were buying today, I'd work my deal very, very close to invoice. See my post #3030.
Good Luck
The Ody may attract a lot of buyers from the Sienna, and this may drop the prices dramatically.
In OKC, only one dealer has an XLE Limited, and he said he would not give any discounts on the Limited, and only $1,000 off on the XLE due to supply and demands.
I basically told him he can keep his supply and I'll hang on to my demands for now until the new Ody comes out this Fall.
I am looking to buy a 04 Sienna and was wondering if anybody had a recent experience (price) with dealers in and around the Boston, MA area. Any feedback will be highly appreciates
Thanks
Build date 1/2004 with the color I want. They still have 1 more left in the lot.
By the way, I'm in Los Angeles Area.

Sienna supply is defnitely improving so don't take a hit on the trade in. I sold my old car to carmax, so that will give you a good baseline number if there is a carmax near you.
Does this price include TDA, Delivery, and Doc Fees? I know it would not include sales tax...
The only thing they add on is $121 fee for processing (it's actually two things...one of which is processing but together add up to $121). They have been great to deal with so far...waiting to get my XLE Limited soon...Ordered the Arctic Frost w/ Stone Int...can't wait to finally get it.
From another post recently on Edmunds, someone said they are doing $250 over now..not $100. Still a great deal compared to local dealers.
