they claim they will beat any price(need proof).
I faxed them a quote from a dealer in philadelphia automall. They said yes we can beat that and when I went to look at the car it was a demo!!! with 3k miles. they offerred me 200 below invoice ...
I complained to the manager created a big scene in the showroom and walked out!! and bought the car from the other dealer(200 above invoice)
Base model ce with just the extra value pakage
Base model le
I'm having problems because, most of these come with toyoguard, and some processing fee they want to add at the end with tax tag title. The fee was about 400 bucks.
I guess what I need to know is do I have to get toyoguard, and do I have to pay this fee. Can I bicker down the price, on those.
I live in Florida
I'm contemplating adding on the 9E entertainment system (1495 invoice), V5 security ($155), possibly leather (quoted $1100 dealer install- their cost??), and possibly 6yr/75K platinum warranty that jingson said he paid $650 at Conicelli. They would have to accept invoice on these (would they- seems they should?). Wouldn't mind going aftermarket (esp. with ent system) although I got a "possible warranty violation if electric problem occurs and you have aftermarket system".
Any comments would be appreciated; I've found this forum quite helpful thus far, a very powerful tool in the buying process.
We need a little encouragement to continue to look at getting a Sienna.
Love it!!!
And, you're a better man than I am!
Look for Steve (he's their top rep)
So my guess is with or without the financing incentive in place tri-state shoppers of Siennas can probably pay 2-3 hundred under carsdirect.com in July if they stick to their guns.
Got a price of 25500 W/UN TO,EF,GN. Dosen't include tag tax pross. they want 350 processing.
I think this is too high, am I right?

Unethical dealers/salesmen: These type seem to be more common in larger market dealerships. I feel I can place 100% trust in the Toyota salesmen I have met in this area where the market is about 1,000,000 people.
We have owned mostly GM vehicles and had great service at the closest Chevrolet dealership for 24 years...BUT I do not trust ANY of the salesmen and saleswomen at that dealership. I bought 3 Chevy from them in the past 24 years BUT 4 Chevy from other dealerships farther from our home. I think they ripped off my neighbor when he bought his 2000 Impala by selling unnecessary "high profit" dealer add ons. I do NOT like the salesmen at the Dodge dealership where we got our 99 GC SE and feel that the Toyota salesmen are the most trustworthy of any local area dealership.
What is it in FLorida. Figures you can't even get the holdback for toyota, without jumping threw loops.
The effort Toy extends to design and service does not seem to be applied to the sales side.
Any present company excluded, of course!
Are you seeing the actual dealer invoice or are you going by what you can spec out here and on other sites? More often than not, Toyota will have shipped the cars with more options than you are looking for or counting on.
I know you can not buy a honda supposedly under msrp or what is stated on the sticker. But at least I know what I'm working with. With Toyota I get a different story from every dealer I talk to, and I have talked to or emailed dozens. One says you have to have this in the southeast another says you dont. They play with the numbers like crazy. I seem not to be the only one with problems with Toyota dealerships. Since they are known for having near the the bottom in the industry for sales satisfaction. Putting down Honda for selling MSRP is an easy answer to a lot of the problems I hear about Toyota.
Sienna 2001 LE
with extra value and towing and toyoguard
24799.00
But i got .9% financing for 3 years can make 1k off the cash I would have paid for cheaper deal.
So basically got it at 23799.00 about 200 under invoice If figure. Thes Toyota guys were tough
I'm not used to working so hard to get a deal. Could not get a deal on 2002 from most of the dealers. Dealer gets 5 star rating because he didnt lie like the others did.
There was no Toyota Advertising Fee.
How does this sounds to you all?
I am currently looking for 2002 Sienna LE with Symphony packege.
Thanks.

2001 Sienna's are going for invoice
The best deal we could find on a 2002 LE with the features we wanted (TO, AJ, AW, XZ, UN, VD, and BE) is $600 over invoice - Price 26,500. (Invoice 25,900) We thought this was reasonable given that this car had to be special ordered, since VD and BE are not available on the LE in the New England region. The next closest dealer was going to charge us $1500 over invoice because of the special order. Some dealers wouldn't even order one for us, they tried to get us to buy one of the 2001 XLE's (which did have VD and BE but also cost about $3000 more)
The only other fees are state sales tax of 5% and a document preparation fee of $180.
My impression is the salesman was not so knowledeable but you may first try to haggle the price.
Finally I went back to Brunswick Toyota, Route 1 , NJ in South Brunswick, NJ from where I had bought Camry.
Salesperson (Ronny Salih) was knowledeable and in fact we used Edmonds.com to settle for the price. They have internet access at each desk and he showed me the invoice as as well as TMV at edmunds.com and we negotiated the price.
F&I person (Tom, I think) also didnot try to push the extended warranty to me, but told me about the various rates and plans.
Overall impression was relaxing and no pressure from the salesman as well as F&I guy.
I hope this helps you in searching the dealer. You may try thru' e-mail and internet for their price quote.
I bought it as soon as I drove it.

I bought from Boulder Toyota in Boulder, Colorado. I'm satisfied with what I paid!
If you live in the NJ/PA area, Team Toyota in Langhorne, has 0% financing for 36 months. I just bought an LE with extra value package, power sliding right door, towing package for $18,400 AFTER trading in my Grand Voyager (97) with 40K miles on it. The Voyager car only had ABS, sunscreen glass and roof rack.
Deal went like this...
They offered me $20,950 off of the $27,000 sticker.
I offered $17,800 (I wanted $6K at least for the van...)
They came back with $19000. I moved to $18,400 and didn't budge from that number.
They met my price and I also qualified for a graduate rebate which brought it down to $18K.
The invoice from what I can tell is $24K and change. However, they showed me the inventory stock list with MSRP and invoice for all vehicles on the lot. That showed $24,700. So, it appears as though I got $6300 for the trade-in, and invoice on the car. Chose the 36 month financing.
What a great car! American cars stink! Valve problems, electrical and transmission problems with the Voyager.
