Nice Jeep Stephen. Now go get that Jeep muddy!

Pat, I see you were able to get your picture linked! I'm glad I could help! Ed's worked too.

Ty, I too get an album password prompt. :(

Thanks a lot, yours was the first explanation I was able to make sense of, now that I know how to do it I am happy as I am sure ED is also.

Yep Stephen a black vehicle will keep you on your toes, if I posted a picture of the Titan right now I would lose my OCD membership,LOL. he is absolutely filthy. but it is so cold here it is impoossible to wash a car.

Cheers Pat.

Hope this works cheers Pat.
• Sorry about the password protection on those STI pics. Members of Image Station just login using their username and password, but you'll have to join if you're not already a member.

Does anyone know how to share/view Image Station pics without having people join?

I signed in with my ImageStation account, but still got the Album Password screen. :( I believe you've entered the 'optional' password on the edit Album page.

ImageStation has this page to explain getting your friends to signup: http://www.imagestation.com/help/faq.html#view_albums

ty, sorry I didn't give enough info the first time.

like Brian I am already a member and being logged in made no difference in my inability to access your album.

-Colin
• My apologies; you called it, Brian. You shouldn't have any problem accessing the album now.

Yep, can see the album now! I can't wait to see that thing in person at the Chicago show.

I need to move some photos of my OBW with it's new wheels up to the site in the sky, then try getting them over to Edmunds.

Isn't "Clean Jeep" an oxymoron? :-)

Pat: nice clean looking front end, you're not required to have front license plates? The pup looks taller, thinner too. Feed 'em!

Nice STi pics, too. Didn't recall the steering wheel being 3 spoke.

LOL! Exactly. That's why I didn't fret (too much) about getting a "black" Jeep. :-)

Stephen
• hondafriekhondafriek Member Posts: 2,984
yeah we are required to have front licence plates I just do not want to deface the front bumper with screws, I suppose if I get stopped I will Have to put them on, I do not see that they serve any useful purpose anyway.

Actually the pup has filled out well he is as solid as the proverbial brick sh./house, very muscular around the shoulders and back.

Cheers Pat.

Replace the first "•" with a "<"
Replace the last "•" with a ">"
Change "img scr" to "IMG SCR"
Delete the " after jpeg.

Wow, you must have seen one of my interim posts - I think I tried it 5 different ways, then deleted them all.

I just came back to try it again when I saw your reply. Part of the problem is the basic link to the photo does not always seem to work. So lets try the basic part again:

I went in cold to Webshots from a friends computer. Did this to avoid any 'cookies' that might be triggering a password or identity issue. Did a search on member "FIBBER2002" and came up with a new album containing two images. Viewed the image, then sent the url from his pc to mine, then copied and pasted the url from the e-mail right to Edmunds. I just tried opening the link from the Edmunds post, and it says "access forbidden".

No idea what is going on....

Try this:

I got that error too. I just went to the page and copied the folder url after a search for fibber2002.

Bob, did you get in directly with the link I posted, or did you modify it?

Answer on the wheels: They look alot like WRX, don't they? Actually they are called Sports Edition FOX-5, an in-house line at TireRack. They are made by FOMB in Italy, makers of MilliMiglia, etc. 16"x7", so slighty wider than stock. I really love the look!

Michael - thanks. I am still trying to have people get to the jpg's directly without having to open the album. This is a prelude to being able to post the photos directly into the posts.

I like the rims too. In fact I like unique, custome rims, it really personalizes the car.

Hey Ed, you'll be flattered. I showed my lil' bro the Superleggeras you got, and loved 'em. He even said they were "PHAT!" :-)

Phat: yes I've put on a lot of weight in the last two years...oh wait, you mean the car! Oh yeah, thanks. I should throw some pics of it up on Photoloft (site for Canon digicam users) but I have to go in and chop out any license plate numbers.

Did you show your brother pics of the wheels alone or a pic of the wheels on my car?

Ed
• ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
Just the rims, he came over to my work for lunch, and we checked out SCC at Tower Records. He saw those rims and called them Phat, so I told him a buddy of mine (you) had them.

Thanks for trying.... I got a big blank square on my screen labled "fibbers new wheels". Sort of like the 'kings new cloths'????

You'll have to check my post. However, the image never showed up, just an icon showing a missing image. I kept trying to reload the image (as you would do on a MAC), but nothing showed up, which makes me wonder about the link. Is it uploaded on the web?

Imagestation uses Ofoto's technology, so they're basically the same. The photos in my profile are linked from there.

Love the wheels. I might be asking the type again next fall, so keep it in mind. Those shots must be pre-holiday snowfall. How are the tires holding up? Would you recommend them?

• fibber2fibber2 Member Posts: 3,786
If you are getting to the main page, you should be able to click on two photos, one taken mid December (before the big dump), and one taken about 10 days ago. I should eventually post a third image taken in the direction of the first one showing the monster piles of snow! BTW, anybody notice my 'landing lights' reflectors along the driveway? I have almost 9000sqft of blacktop, with the main run about 500 ft out to the town road. Without them, it gets impossible to stay on the driveway for plowing.

Thanks for the comments on the wheels. Completely changes the look of the car. Makes it unique. Wish I could have put them on the van also, but the price was getting too steep. Went for the steel wheels and ugly covers.

So far, the Dunlop Wintersport M2's are holding up well on both the OBW and the Odyssey. Wear looks even, but they are wearing faster than the stock all seasons. The trick is going to be to get them off early in the Spring so that they serve 3 winters. Grip on snow, ice and wet roads is wonderful. Even dry road handling limits are quite high. Worth every penny (all 150,000 of them...).

And now that I finally got the hooks up on the wall and have the other 8 up off the floor, the job is done.

Beth let you buy steelies for the Ody and you get the nice wheels. That must have been a large bouquet of flowers. ;)

My name is Steve and I live next town over from Hopewell J. I aslo put the WRX rims on my Legacy GT, but painted them gold, the GT being white it shows up very well, and I also have Dunlop Winter Sport M2's on my GT.
