Ive copied them over to my Yahoo photo, but having difficulty getting them across on Edmunds.

Wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Hope they work

Guess the link will have to do.
By the way, I deleted those threads with the failed pic attempts.
Ross-
The mysterious photographer takes really good pics. No one has met him/her yet. But we do know that he/she owns a Silver Forester and will work for food

Normally, I would remove the multiples, but want the tech to see the time stamp on those posts.

Cheers Pat.
so what happened, as near as you can remember? I know you have some autocross experience... what did you do just before you lost control?

Gives a good look at the drivetrain, fwiw.

We were coming down that medium grade bend. I realized the car was close to the edge/ditch (no shoulder) and did a correction. That's when I my rear broke loose. From the site, I saw I was at the edge of the road riddle with foliage, nuts, gravel...
anyway, the skid aimed the car towards the other side and trees. Manage to stir the car away from colliding with trees and thought I had the car under control and proceeded to stir out to my side of the lane (all this is happening very quickly). Here is where I noticed something odd about the scenery.
Felt the car tipping to my side. Steering not responding to turn towards the tip then crunch.

I mean I did not engage the brake. I'm sure I'd eased off the gas but not off completely (4EAT).
-Dave
You guys OK? Did you both walk away? Looks like the safety cage held up pretty well (photo 1025). I bet you were "tripped" by the rougher texture of the shoulder.
LOL, Papa Bear!
I call dibs on those rims! Just kidding!

from ther skid marks, I'll say yes.
-Dave
Did the insurance company total the car? Sure looks like they will.
I wonder if an OB with a moonroof would have held up as well. That really tests the structure.

I went out there with him yesterday to check it out and get his personal effects, and anything else I could salvage...
Car was a mess. Passenger section was intact though except for the roof. Not in too bad a shape considering ti rolled! I yanked off a bunch of stuff that my dad needed on his legacy, and Dave took his Optima battery, and HIDs and 6-disc changer/radio.
Too bad we couldn't get the rims off
-mike
I wonder if the rear bumper protector fits on my Legacy, I'd have asked you to grab that.
Oh well, RIP.

Bet you'll use it to entice me up to the Pine Barrens, eh? ;-)

hope the bummper guard will fit.
Good to know that at least "Al Gator" will live on in Paisan's Dad's Legacy, uncle's Legacy, and your Leagacy.

Glad to continue to carry that torch for Al Gator.

Would be a waste not to pick on a car that was near mint. ;-)
Heck, if mike (Paisan) had room in the Trooper, we might have salvaged those leather seats
Ya, those seat belts are lifesavers. Our butts were literally glued to the seat until it was released.

Thanks for the thought.
Importantly, we're all OK. I still have some residual soreness.
Anyway, the insurance valued to car @ ~19k and I get ~18k after the deductible. Not bad for a 5YO car.
