Join Imagestation it is free then you can post pics from there to anywhere.

      Cheers Pat.

Jimmy & Pat... thanks. Just did the prelim's on Imagestation last night, and since it's a Sony camera, that may make it easier. I can either feed the pics thru a USB cable from the camera, or feed the mini-CD/RW that the camera writes to directly into my CD drive. Still have to figure that part out :)

    Cheers!

E-mail it to me, I'll host it for you and provide the link, Patti.

The CD is usually the D:\ drive, the photo will be called D:\directory name\photo number.jpg, something like that. Just attach it to an e-mail and fire it off.

That would be fun and since I kind of "owe" my daughter for her help here once, I think I'll send it to you Juice. Juice, Ken, Jimmy and Pat - thanks for the offer!

Not the menu, just the overall look of the place. Always very busy when I try to eat there when visiting.

Patti - As a father of 3 girls, the thought of dating scares me. Don't know how I am going to react when they hit 30 and start dating.

    Greg,

One tip I learned: The Fish Market doesn't take reservations, but you can call in up to 30 minutes before you plan on getting there to get your name on the list.

Also, the San Mateo and Palo Alto locations have their "Top of the Market" seating areas that do take reservations. The only downside is the menu is pricier. Good for taking out clients, though.

probably be there around February for a much needed trip. I'll try calling ahead for reservations. Any tips on getting into Burke's in a timely manner?

Great photos, but Mac doesn't look too happy. He probably thinks he's being punished for something. :)

He is not to happy with the camera flash, usually when he sees the camera come out he runs like hell but if he has a coat or his leash on he sits docile.

BTW the table in the background is some of my famous furniture making.
      Cheers Pat.

I thought Mac had a black coat? Is that just the photos, or has his coat changed?

Reminds me of Ashley, our old Terrier/Poodle mix.

Yes his coat is changing to silver, the breeder told us this would probably happen as both his parents are silver.

       Cheers Pat.

we do look stuffed! Good food, great company, what more could you ask for? It was a nice trip, despite the weather (too cold for CA - kind of NY'ish).

Hey Greg, I did get to spend some time at your employer's place, across from Fry's. Very impressive facility.

Actually, the dings and uneven/unpainted surfaces are really a scientific experiment in reduced surface drag. ;-)

If you rub my car, it can only GAIN paint! The flaggers from Entropyracing.net LOVE the loud Unpainted L! Charlie who was working the start/finish always flags me with the blue (let people pass) flag when no one is around cause he loves my car so much!

Can't weld them shut for racing, will be getting a cage over the winter along with turbo. It will likely stay primer, although it may get a fresh coat of primer!

I've got some 20 year old spray cans of sandable primer in brown & gray. No guarantee that they still have propellant though.

Finally. appearing on Edmunds. Sonic Yellow 2003 WRX:

The sunroof is a Webasto and is really nice. Can you guess my computer? Next photo:http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid89/pc38e0504a0604f- b36eb9f5b90add719f/fa8666f3.jpg

Rear view including a shot of the beloved 1992 RNPU. Is there a more trouble free truck than a mid-90's 4 cyl. Toyota?

Anyway there is the fruit of my 2 months of frustration. Yes I really do like Sonic despite my school bus jokes. Hey it is the only one in Evansville area.

that car really stands out. i bet that much yellow helps the sunrise just about 1 minute earlier at his house.

read my post about moonlighting as a cabbie and school bus driver.....

Sidenote: pix are from a Pentax Optio 330. After only about a year there are a few dozen smaller cameras. Optio series is a nice line up from 5mpx model to Altoids tin sized one.

I want a small camera like that. One that will fit in my shirt pocket. My Sony DSC-75 is nice but kinda bulky.

Tell you what, that yellow must be the safest color, noone could miss it coming.

mike - Do NOT paint that car!!! It looks great. Did Zephyr let you get ahead of him? :-)

    TWRX - Looks nice!! :-)

i would have no problem trying to slam the door in a corner. i think it needs lots of dents and primer before it hits the course.

i love it, nothing like seeing a car glow from its color before it crests the hill.

and it's wonderful to have you back and happy with us! Congratulations!

that table! Nice work! I wish I had a talent like woodworking. I've got a good eye for nice pieces, I just could never create one.

Okay - envy mode is off now ;-)

technical question: Is it true that you can only use SUNFLOWER OIL in a Sonic Yellow WRX and the MUSTARD GAS comes out of the exhaust?
  • hondafriekhondafriek Member Posts: 2,984
If we were closer in distance I could build you one, I was a commercial Refrigeration and Airconditioning Mechanic by profession, when I got hurt and could no longer work I took up woodworking.

I was always interested but when I worked I did not have the time,I guess I am one of those lucky people who are good with their hands.

Yeah I know, these aren't the best but the sun was fading fast. I'll try and take some better ones tomorrow so you can see the tint better. Interior shot of the leather is over on MTM.

very subtle re-skinning last year was one of the most successful re-skinnings I've ever seen. That thing is beautiful. Proportionally perfect. I wish I could get my wife to agree.

Wish I could see it. Darn firewall. :-(

Oh well, I could just run out to my driveway when I get home. :-) I've seen some very good aftermarket leather on WRX's.

Except for the leather (and what nice leather it is!), RGB and wing, Frank's XT looks very much like yours. ;-)
