I have ONE employee purchase control number to give out under the CDI (Certain Designated Individuals) program. The program allows anyone to purchase a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep vehicle at the employee discount price. There is a $200 program fee which is paid to the dealer at the time of purchase. Other than the program fee and TTL (in some states) there are no other fees that can be added to the purchase price (no marketing, dealer prep, etc.).
The CDI control number must be used to purchase a vehicle by September 30. I only have one to give out, so please only request one if you are absolutely sure you will be using it by the end of September. I have to register the buyer in a database prior to generating the number. I will provide the details on what is required via PM.
I will give it out to the first person who sends me a PM. Thanks.
How do I get a control number for employee pricing?
Send me a PM to my Carspace mailbox. I'll need the following information:
Last four digits of customer’s SSN First and last name Home address Date of birth Phone number E-mail address that you'd like the control # sent to Vehicle that customer is interested in Vehicle that the customer will be turning in (if any)
After I have all that I will add your name to the database and it takes just a minute to generate and send the control number. You will have it by tomorrow morning. I cannot access my Carspace mailbox from work, where I'm currently at, and I get home at 1:00 a.m. CDT.
I am in need of trading up my 02 T&C, and have my eyes on a black touring edition, bu the price with incentives is still a bit high for me. Anyone have an extra number that hasn't been spoken for? My kids are asking me daily if we are going to go pick up their new car with the TVs and the table.Hmmm, any doubt where who they are marketing? LOL
Or when will confirmation come out with the new incentives? Would it be worth waiting until next week, or will I be kicking myself? For what it is worth, I want the only black one on the lot.
Last month I spoke to 3 dealers getting prices on my Grand Caravan, and the last thing they all said before I left the dealer without buying a van is that the dealers gets so many CDI numbers they can use, and they could "probably" get me one. I had an employee number from a freind and they never even asked for it. I got mine for around 32% off sticker, plus taxes and fees. Now they are advertising Dodge's and Chryslers in the paper for almost 40% off.
I reccomend taking the sticker price, deducting 35% off, add in taxes and fees, walk into your dealer and tell them if they want to sell you one at that price you will but it today. If not, walk out or come up a few hundred on the price. I negotiated the lifetime $100 deductible extended warranty for $1650. Start by offering $1500 for it.

I've driven to Brooklyn and Baltimore to buy used cars before. I really have no issue driving there for this, except that we are trading in two vehicles, and them knowing we drove all that way means that they have us over a barrell on the trade-in prices. I'd rather get a quote like that from a NJ dealer and take it in to my local dealer and see what they can do for me.
I've gotten another quote since I posted as well.
Here are the cars I was quoted: Dealer #1: $24,947 3.8 engine with leather heated seats. dual DVD, power doors and lift gate. no nav. It is also the one with stow and go. From what I've been told, this looks like it's a signature series where dual DVD was added as an option.
Dealer #2: $26,000 T&C Touring edition w/ leather heated seats and dual DVD, other standard features for this edition. From what I've been told, this looks like it's the Touring M series.
If I'm right on the configurations, then I'm thinking I may be better off with the Dealer #2 vehicle, as it has more upgraded features for just over $1000 more.
To: tiger3 I've been on this site for a couple of weeks and have seen you posts and I'm sure you've seen mine. Yes, I too, feel I paid too much...based on what I'm seeing on-line from others, but I couldn't get them to budge any more on the price.
I believe my biggest obstacle was that the only T&C (color & options) I wanted was 200 miles away!...and I finally decided to trade-in my '05 Dodge GC, which I know I could have gotten quite a bit more for if I sold it on my own.
When I finally did drive down there last Friday, they knew they had me. BUT...I do love it!
Maybe the best thing WE can do is stay off this site (Prices/Buying Experiences). The other site (where I saw your posting yesterday) T&C Club (I think it's called) is pretty interesting as we now belong.
I do not know how the CDI discount works with rebates and bonus cash, but you should get it on top of all the other discounts. When I bought my vehicle I do not know what discount was applied for how much, and I didn't worry about that, I let the dealer figure it out.
I just went in with my offer and let them figure out the discounts. I found a dealer with the lowest advertised price, which had fine print discounts like lease loyalty, military discount, employee and used that as my starting point. I then added the options I wanted, taxes, fees. I said here's my offer, I'll buy from you right now at this price or I can go somewhere else. I am not a military person, emplyee ot nor was I a current owner. I ended up coming up a few hundred dollars from my original offer.
How does the CDI discount work with the rebates and bonus cash? Do you still get all that on top of the CDI discount?
Someone else posted the link but see #9 in the CDI Program FAQ about this.
Previously, any rebates or other price incentives were always subtracted from the discount price for even more savings so I would think that would still apply in this case.
Driving my new T&C touring signature series at a good discount thanks Ted E. Bear! Thanks alot, the kids really love it. Invoiced at $26K + $200 program fee + taxes and fees. Got sold on the Resistall for paint and interior, since we have little kids and I will have this care a "lifetime".
The dealership was clueless on the DCI program, tried to give me friends and family pricing. Took over 5 hours to close the deal and I'm still faxing them paperwork on the program.
Now I need to get a good price on the bumper to bumper lifetime warranty. They quoted me almost double the cost on chryslerwarrantys.com. Any other tips on getting the best price on the warranty would be helpful.
warrantydirect.com is probably the best one out there. its cheaper than some others...but you find a "lifetime". the max is probably 7yr/100,000 miles warranty
Quote from arictle "Chrysler executives who are grade bands 96 and higher receive 50 CDI numbers". That is a lot!
If anyone has any extra I will definetely use one. Someone on this board gave me an EC number last year and I saved a ton of money on my lease. I saved over 40 bucks a months on my monthly lease price. So if anyone knows of someone who has an extra CDI number please let me know.
P.S. I don't know if this has been posted previously, but if anyone purchases a van with the MYGIG navigation radio make sure you get the updated software via DVD. My radio would occasionally freeze. Very annoying if your somewhere your not familiar with and your depending on the navigation. Ever since I got the update (free from the dealer) I have been trouble free.
I don't know if this has been posted previously, but if anyone purchases a van with the MYGIG navigation radio make sure you get the updated software via DVD.
I received the DVD update disc the other week from Chrysler. It was for v9.713 (MyGIG with nav), the same one I had installed over 5 months ago that I downloaded from the site I mentioned above.
They also have Gracenote database updates for d/l on that site. However, nav map updates are not available there and I've read they are quite expensive.
Anyone can see what version of the software and Gracenotes they have by pressing the following:
I would love a code to purchase a T&C. I finally found one with the swivel seats and the DVD/TV. It is a couple hundred miles away, but I am ready to purchase this weekend if you or one of your friends could help me out with the code. Thanks in advance to help make my kids happy
Send me a PM to my Carspace mailbox. I'll need the following information:
Last four digits of customer’s SSN First and last name Home address Date of birth Phone number E-mail address that you'd like the control # sent to Vehicle that customer is interested in Vehicle that the customer will be turning in (if any)
I'll be happy to give my only CDI to you. I may be able to coax other co-workers to give me their code. Just make sure you use it and let it not go to waste!
i cant configure the T&C to your MSRP, but the closest config is $34485 and has an adjusted CDI price of $26091, which includes the $200 program fee. If you are getting that price, I'd jump on it.
I saw that you may be able to get your co-workers to give you their code. We would love to buy a new T&C. My husband works for ford and they dont make minivans anymore so we would like to purchase a T&C. We would gladly give one of his employee discounts to someone in trade, although I think Ford is offering that to everyone right now. Thanks
I would very much appreciate a CDI# to purchase a new T&C ASAP if you or anyone else has one still available. please let me know. I need and want to buy one this week. Thanks, Christine
My wife and I are also looking to purchase a new T&C. If anybody would be willing to help out with a CDI # it would go a long way toward making this a possibility.
Thank you so much in advance for any who can help.
Would be indebted to anyone gracious enough to pass along a #. Will be our first time finacning since the leases are gone. We're having trouble finding a payment that will fit out budget. Kiddos are hounding us for a T&C touring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I am embarrassed to admit it but I have HAD it with my 2007 Odyssey -- fell for the Honda hype and bought in 13 months ago after driving T&C for years, and HATE it. Incredibly annoying features/lack of features, and I think I also got a lemon --missed my son's soccer game this morning because the battery wouldn't start (have had a series of relatively minor but troublesome problems like that.) Anyway, already have a T&C picked out and am going to buy it regardless tomorrow if they are open, Tuesday if not! I would LOVE it if anyone has a code or anything else that would help me get a better deal, since I will already be taking such a hit on selling a 1-year-old car! I am in Tulsa if that makes any difference. Thanks!!
While the discount numbers make for an "easy" purchase, you can do just as well or better on your own.
If you know your invoice pricing for the features you want, go to the chrysler site and select "find a dealer."
Check the inventory of all the dealers listed. I discovered that this view of a dealers inventory is controlled by chrysler, so there are a ton of mistakes that can only be corrected once per week. Once you find a mistake, email the dealership about the price. You will have to make a screenshot of where you saw the price to prove it, but some dealers will honor it.
Even without this trick as said above:
There are tons of T&Cs on lots. There is no more leasing 09's are coming in Crossovers are killing minivans
If you know your stuff you can get your price no matter what. Pour over edmunds and sites like it. This was the best buyers experience I have ever had. I probably still got screwed, but at least I don't fell like it for once.
So, you are saying I can haggle them down to the CDI price or to the invoice price? I thought the CDI price was supposed to be 4 - 8 percent less than invoice. The invoice that is on edmunds is a lot less than the price on the chrysler website that you suggest so I am confused when you say to check it out on the dealer website. Any info to clear this up will be useful.
Hit find a dealer with your zip code. Look at the T&C inventories of every dealership that is there. Most pricing is correct, but look for ones that are listed with a much larger dealer discount than the others. These are mistake prices that somehow have the cashback added in twice.
I found at least 3 dealerships with these mistakes in my area. Then contact them all and one of them will likely honor it.
Even besides that, you can negotiate below invoice. There are just too many T&Cs out there to not get a great price.
When we got our van a few weeks ago, the salesperson showed me all the "special" prices (employee, friend, etc.), and our price was below those (but not by much). I know they were real because they were attached to the invoice.
4% is close, 8% is not possible - I'd say 3% below invoice is closer to reality for this brand/model.
It shouldn't take much of a haggle unless they have you in some weird situation (upside down trade in, or last exact match for your selection in town, etc.).
I thought the CDI price was supposed to be 4 - 8 percent less than invoice.
According to the company website the CDI discount is 4-6% below factory invoice and a possible 8-14% below MSRP. That is before any rebates or other price incentives are figured in.
I bought a T&C LX with 50k miles today for $11,500 OTD, including MN sales tax, license (about $300), and doc fees. Traded my 2002 MPV, took $5k cash out of the deal, and got 4.9% for 66 months ($200/month). The price includes 12 oil changes at any Chrysler Corp. dealership (perfect for me since I plan to keep the van no longer than 3 years and 36k miles), a $200 gas card, free mats (van didn't have any), and a zero-deductible powertrain warranty good until 2017 or 100k miles. The van was immaculate and was driven by a Chrysler employee. It has Stow-n-Go but is otherwise faily basic, but meets my needs. Has the 3.3L engine. Only downsides are that it will probably need new tires within a year, there's a scrape on the rear bumper (someone apparently hit a concrete light stand in the dealer's lot), and there was a faint smoke smell which the dealer is de-ionizing right now.
Thanks for the input guys. I am going to go to the dealership this week and see if I can negoitiate a CDI price without the CDI. They do have us at a disadvantage in the sense that we are upside down on the trade...but I look at that as a seperate problem. I will let them tack that onto the price of the vehicle only after we have agreed upon a CDI-ish price. We are in the situation where we can wait a bit so hopefully that will give us the will power to walk out if negotiations don't go our way...eventually we will have to buckle though.
I was hoping to stay in the Chrysler family and purchase a new T&C Touring Signature this week... I would be very grateful if anyone here can help by providing a CDI number.
Also: Has anyone looked up the T&C Touring Signature CDI price? I am very curious where it falls in the 4-6% that they advertise.
Thanks in advance for your help/generosity. I am a new member but will work hard to reciprocate my help in the future. I am well connected in the Automotive industry, but unfortunately not with Chrysler!
I just registered you and sent you the CDI code. Let me know that you got it. BTW, how are you connected to the auto industry? Tell me you work for VW
As for the Signature series price, with an MSRP of $33090, expect to pay $24869+$200 program fee. This includes an employee discount of $3721, cash allowance of $2500 and CF bonus cash of $2000.
your $26,287 excluding TTL, is the price you should be getting it for with the $5000 rebate and the $200 program fee included. I would jump on it before that model goes.
I have still not received the code you had sent over. Was this sent to my carspace.com mailbox? I am seeing nothing there (originally had the spam filter defaulted on). Would you mind resending?
Thanks again for your help - hope to make my purchase today or tomorrow... Rebates in our area stayed the same (we were already at $5000).
That's strange. I still don't have any mail in my garymaster@carspace.com mailbox. Is this where you sent it? I am new to carspace, so perhaps you are using the IM feature or something else that I have not been able to find. It also hasn't forwarded anything to my registered home email. I am so sorry to trouble you when you have already seemingly done this (twice) on your end!
Hi rmbalisa, would you happen to have a way to get me a CDi number also. I am looking to but a chrysler aspen in the next day or two. I would be coverting from a BMW X5 to a chrysler product so it would be a great success story! :-) Thanks for any help!

You should be able to get a price below the CDI price on the 2008's right now.
If you are looking for a 2009, then the CDI will help you. Otherwise, don't bother.
The current price in our region is about 2-3% under invoice, then deduct the rebates.
You are a godsend - THANK YOU so much for sending this over. I will let everyone know how things go at the dealership later in the week.
