Actually having answered his earlier today, it dawned on me as I drove home from work just now that this is a Champion - something like a Champion 250 or 275 - anyway, not a Kleinschnittger
You're a bit off on the year Stickguy. That black beauty is a 1962 Buick Electra 225 Sport Coupe. IMO the big Buicks never looked better than they did in '62. Those wheels are the optional Magnum 500 style chromed steel wheels (not alloys) seen on many different 1960s cars.
I wasn't that hot at the time - due to the time difference I was actually dozing off and heading for bed when I posted that reply - because most of you are in the US I'm generally around when you guys are still asleep if I post from work, and its only when I am home like now that I am on the same wavelength.
I have a model of a similar Moskvitch, but a single colour 503 rather than the more up market 507.
The Jeep Commanche's were always nice, but the new J12 is going to sell like wildfire (as long as the proposed Dodge Power Wagon varient doesn't clone from it)
That is a good deal tidier than anything I have seen. Jeep had an assembly plant in Brisbane and did reasonably well, flogging these Comanches to farmers and industrial users. However, closed up shop and left the market to Toyota, pretty much.
We still see very rusted examples around from time to time, usually driven by folk who have just left the banjo at home.
Is this the weird thing based off a Ford Falcon platform? About same as the Convair derived pick up from Chevrolet. A stylistic dead end, thank goodness!
I just saw one of these Sunday leaving a local gas station. I couldn't see any markings to help with the brand. It was car show ready other than the one I saw didn't have the spare tire standing up.
That's a Ford Falcon pickup--did they call the pickup the Econoline too, I don't recall. But I like the looks. Not often seen today...same with the Corvair versions.
Honestly, I've always wondered about a frontal impact in one of those though.

I guess I can see "Econoline" written on the door so the pickup was indeed called that. I see online that '67 was the last year for that general styling. A new Ford Econoline van-only came out for '68. Weird to me that Chevy still offered its Corvair vans in '65 while at the same time bringing out the more conventional "Chevy Van" and "Sportvan" the same model year.
At the Studebaker National Museum, they have a one-off 1963 cab-over pickup designed for use by Westinghouse. It's boxy in the extreme, and although the dimensions in the article don't show it, it seems enormous when I've stood next to it:

The Champion 250 was essentially a four wheeled motorcycle lackiong even an electric starter.
Now what the hell is a Klienschnittger?

It's got a Vega/Capri vibe but can't tell what it is.
I'll bet you're right Michaell. It's an Isuzu Piazza Coupe, AKA Isuzu 117 which had a long production run from 1968-81!

that looks like the infamous Opel by Isuzu that replaced the "real" Opel Manta for 1976, which was a thinly disguised I mark I think.

When I looked at it I thought of the Isuzu sold in the US in the '70s and/or '80s as the I-Mark. That one came in gas and diesel models.

They frenched the headlights and it looked much better, as did the bed with the wood trim:
