Guys, I see that this subject has come up again. The other day I was doing some stuff around the truck and decided...IT IS TIME! I believe it is a 18mm socket and my 1/2 inch long handle rachet. THREE (3) full revolutions of each torsion bar adjusting bolt and now the truck sits more balanced. Raised the front about 1 to 1 1/2 inches and back sits up somewhat higher than front, but doesn't look so nose heavy, and now I look over directly at the earlier trucks. I haven't put more than 500 miles on it since I made the adjustment so I see on appreciable feathering wear, and I haven't checked the alignment, but the adjustment shouldn't be too much more than 3/16 to 1/4 inch change in toe, which is what wears the tires. Will be watching the wear pattern on the outside edge of the tires to see if there is any detrimental affect.
    That's what I did, just my .02

Have you done any mods under the hood? I haven't, but, I don't know, sure been thinking about it. Maybe an airaid and possibly an exhaust. I'm inclined to leave the exhaust alone though. Sometimes I think that the money isn't really worth it. My dad made a whole bunch of mods to his old 350 and it didn't seem to make much of a difference. Lets see, he put in roller cams, underdrive pullies, K&N, exhaust, and a chip. I think thats all. Didn't seem like much in the seat-0-meter to me. I had to test this in the passengers seat though. I was probably only 13 or 14 when he made these mods. Any body on this board go to UCSB? I just got back from a party up in Isla Vista. That's enough partying for me for the next week. I'm too dam faded right now. I know I'm going to have a bad hangover in the morning. Well enough, time for bed.

Is that a black Lincoln Mark VIII across the street in the background of the picture. Looks good. Had two of those,a 93 and a 95. One was pearl white and the other was champagne in color. Great car, was a little too expensive for the performance it gave.

The picture you took...seems like the street is slanted downward from right to left. Is that an illusion or were you having a hard time holding the camera level? LOL!!

I've done the mods except the supercharger and the cumulative performance gain was ssubstantial. Almost 1 sec off 0-60 times.

    Airaid
    Granatelli MAF
    Magnecor Racing
    Wires
    Torquemaster plugs
    160 stat
    HPIII programming
    JBA Headers
    PV exhaust system
    Roadmaster active suspension
    Edlebrock IAS
    velvet ride shackels

and that's just the inside mods....

Thanks for the info on the torsion bars. It's a reg cab short box, so I don't really like that "raked" look.
I'll have to give it a try, and maybe even change the shocks like you said.

    Thanks
