I was going to say something like that but I'm a nice guy plus I knew 'isell' would never speak to me again. :shades:

My nurse just came home and disconnected my pump. You don't know what a relief that is! It's not painful or anything like that. I just feel like a prisoner at home for three days. Now is into the shower and get ready to go to work. I'm not feeling any bad side effects today except for a small case of the hiccups but those go away in a day so not too bad. I'll let you guys know more about the hair loss in the next week or two to see if I have to sport the Joel Look!

Except mine doesn't have those ugly wheels the first shot has and it doesn't have the goofy stripes on the second one.
That's my interior exactly.
Nothing really special but it's unique and a lot of people have never seen one.
They come with a low restriction exhaust that has a nice growl to it.
I remember one night coming home from Eastern Washington, a 5 series BMW took me on and we had quite a time until he backed down. He couldnt' catch me.
Appreciate the effort and good luck with your treatments. You WILL beat this crap!!
So, what I hear you saying is...you have a composite. That's not very valuable is it? :confuse:

Pretty much. On used cars it makes sense to have a small pack, maybe 300-500 dollars, to cover come backs and soften the blow of wholesale losses but on new cars it is just to cut the salesman out of more money.
is what, or... are whom?
I'm guessing hanger queens are the ones that hang around for a long time and chew up a lot of floor plan and need a big discount to move.
But, I still consider that overhead and part of SG&A and I still think "payable gross" is BS. Gross is sales less direct cost of product. They should just pay you on gross or come clean and say they pay you on some hybrid number that's has G&A deducted from it.
For example Service loaner LR3s might have as much as 10,400 dollars of money from Land Rover effectively reducing the invoice by that much money. The pack is still figured on the higher number.
Huh. I was a Navy Airdale, was even on a flight crew for a couple years and I never heard of that term. Sometimes we said AP (awaiting parts) but most of the time we just said it was down. Everyone knew what that meant.
Were you in the US Navy ? :shades:

So that should end with Sir... :P
But, you already knew that. I guess she just wanted to make sure there was no trace of doubt
Now I see why they are automatic minis. Theoretically, you would end up paying them as payable gross can be easily negative in those situations.
But for the sake of simplicity I used the word platform. It is is not wrong to actually say that the Mazda6 was the test bench for the Ford Fusion, Lincoln Zephyr, Mercury Milan. All these have extensively used the Mazda6 components (and lessons learned) as well as the platform. Also the V6 engine and the I4 engine. as far as the Six speed, it is very much on the Mazda6 V6. It was introduced last year in and around with the ford Fusion.
In fact, I remember a article where it said "Master learns from Student" referring to Ford learning from Mazda on how to make small cars that are good.
Keep your chin up. That chemo will just be like a minor operation. A minor operation being defined as any operation performed on someone else!!

yes and no. you will have to put up with some negatives like how hyundai usa is run. That is the primary reason the owner of the dealership i work for is giving the franchise back. The cars are great, just not enough dealer support.
The biggest deterrent to buying a Hyundai for me (in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia) is the lack of quality dealerships for which to even shop.
The only real quality dealer around is Fitzgerald. My local dealership would be an Easterns Franchise---avoid like the plague. There's no way I'd either buy a car or even have one serviced there. Other than that, you've got to travel to Alexandria or Manassas. The Alexandria dealer is also SKETCHY. I wouldn't want to be dealing with them for service.
Pretty much every brand on the planet is represented in the shoppers mecca that is Tysons Corner. One of the largest retail spots in the entire country, with its own "Automile" type of thing to boot. Lots of high end stuff, too. But no Hyundai.
So regardless of the product, Hyundai needs to do something about these low quality dealerships.

I would consider an alignment as its recommended when changing tires makes sense as its a considerable investment in those tires compared to the $50 for the alignment.

I would have had the alignment done, but instead of agreeing up front, I told them to put it up the rack and check the specs first. Turns out no alignment was needed

I took a week off and then my grandmother died. I had to postpone starting at Porsche to attend to that matter. It was good to say goodbye to her in PA. She was 88 and lived an awesome life.
So I started a couple days ago at Porsche. I've been test driving the vehicles and learning the product. I have to say, I think this is the greatest opportunity that I've ever stumbled upon. The product is top notch. The dealership is incredible. The sales guys are very friendly. AND, I went 125 mph in a Carrera 4S before I even knew what was going on. Whenever you get out of a Porsche, you have a silly smile on your face. It's awesome!
I'll keep you up to date with some stories as I begin to meet people. My GM wants me to keep learning the product before I jump into the meeting people. It has only been 3 days, so I can understand. I'll keep you posted!
