One more quick question,
They have not run my credit app yet at BMW.
Should I wait for the app to go through before negotiating percentage off msrp and MF and residual?
Thanks!
Im being quoted 465$ a month including taxes, 36/15K, zero down, 1st month + tag due at signing, for a 328i basic + moonroof... What do you think? I think it can be better...

I guess being "preapproved" might give you some slight negotiating advantage, but I've never done it.. I just tell them I'll be top-tier, and go from there..

Need to know MSRP, selling price and tax rate/state
@nym said:
Hi can you please take a look at my quote?
MSRP: $56,894
Invoice: $52,682 - $1,250 OC = $51,432
Proposed Price: $50,492
MF: .00140 (getting the car at invoice)
Acq: $725
RV: 61%
Taxes rolled in (ad valorem tax)
I get a monthly quote of $591.26. Is this quote correct?
I don't know your tax rate, or what you have due at signing.. but, <br<
At an MSRP of 56,894 and CAP cost of 50,492, the pre-tax payment would be $558/mo. If you are rolling in the acq.fee, then it would be more, of course.
So.. a selling price of about $38,300? I like it.. I'd want to roll around $1800 of that upfront cost into the lease.. Although, I realize that would hike your MSDs by $350, it puts less money at risk, if your car is stolen or totaled.. (I picked $1800, because it leaves the payment under $400/mo. Any more, and your MSDs would be $450 each, instead of $400)

Hi, I'm being quoted 557/mo including taxes with an msrp 44975, 41,655 selling price with 0down/zero drive off, MF is .00130 63% residual of 28334 for a 36/mo, 10000 miles Lease on a 2014 328d in mineral grey/black int, with moonroof, navi with touchpad, driver assist and heated seats. Dealer stating the normal drive off of roughly 1030 or so goes back into the cap cost and I have 35 payments starting next month. Should I agree to this deal or can I do better?

Adding $1030 on to the selling price, plus the $725 acquisition fee gives a pre-tax payment of $512/mo. If your tax equates to $45/mo, then the numbers are right. With $1750 of incentives on that model, your selling price is only 3.5%% off of MSRP.. I'd think another $1000 off would be a fair deal... which would knock about $30/mo off your payment...
Okay I feel like this is a crap deal and it doesn't even add up right
MSRP: 45323
Selling Price: 40925
Acq Fee: 925
Residual: 62%
MF: 0.0017%
36mo/10k
Monthly Payment: 507 including tax
Drive Off: 2500 (I asked for a breakdown but this apparently includes Tax, Tag, 1st Payment, Dealer Fee & Cap Reduction
When I put the numbers into the leasetrader.com calculator it says my monthly payment should be $439 w/ taxes.

Both the MF and acquisition fee are marked up. Wonder how much cap reduction is in the $2500 due at signing?
He said the cap reduction is $800 but I'm honestly not sure where that comes from because he said the $2500 was the due at signing cost that included first payment ($507) bank fee ($925) dealer fee($549) and registration ($69)... that only leaves $450 not $800.
When I plug all your numbers into my calculator, I get $507/mo. However, there is room to negotiate the mf (they have .00170, base MF is .00130). That alone will shave $30/mo off your payment.
Hi.. Can you give me the residuals and money factors for 2014 328i 2 years/12k miles. If you don't have April numbers, please give the March numbers. I am trying to get an idea about difference between 2 and 3 year lease.

Being offered $540/month with $4K down. I think the money factor can come down here.
Thoughts?
We don't have the April numbers just yet, but for March the standard MF was .00130, so what you were quoted by the dealer does represent an increase .. which they are allowed to do.
In your incentives section for the 328d it shows a 1750 credit + 1725 dealer contribution to get $359/mo, but on the BMWUSA site I only see the 1750 credit getting it down to the $359 payment. Is there something I am missing?
Looking to lease a 328D xDrive Sports Wagon through my corporate fleet program.
corporate fleet discount includes 1000$ incentive and .00020mf rate reduction.
BASE: BEST NEGOTIATED PRICE OFF MSRP.
ADDITIONAL RETAIL SALES SUPPORT PROGRAMS (E.G. BUILD OUT CASH, OPTION CREDITS, ECO CREDITS,) OFFERED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE CAN BE APPLIED
36 Mo / 15k / 9% tax rate
MSRP: 45875$
Incentives:1000$ option credit cash + 1000$ corporate fleet cash
MF for April: .00130 - .00020 discounted = .00011mf
Residual = 61%
Multiple Security Deposits x7 (car will be leased in NJ) 3500$
I come out with monthly price + tax at 429.60$.
Out of pocket would be first month, plate fees, etc.
Is my math good? and is it a good deal or should I shop around more? Thanks!

.00130 MF and 61% residual. $500 option credit.
Those numbers are the same, whether you make a downpayment or not. Don't be misled by advertised leases. They only show a downpayment to make the monthly payment more palatable. If you have good credit, and downpayment is never necessary.
