Still the same as what?

.00019 and 49% for 4x2

.00001 and 50% for 4x4

Acquisition fee waived for 36 month terms.

We were looking to get a 60 month lease to buy on a 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Bighorn. MSRP 41300. A leasing company quoted us $380 for 60 months, $2000 due upon signing, and $12500 residual value at the end of 60 months. Is this a good value?

60 months is too long for a lease (I know, I did it once when I was young and dumb).

I'll assume this isn't through Chrysler Financial, which is the only bank we have numbers for; in fact, Chrysler doesn't even offer 60 month lease terms.

What is the selling price?

Yeah this isn't through Chrysler Financial. It is through a leasing company. We were looking for lower monthly payments and a little flexibility for about a year. We intend to pay off the lease early anyways. Do these numbers look bad compared to a straight purchase?

If you're leasing, there is no "early payoff" ... once the lease is done, you either buy the truck at the agreed upon residual value or turn it in.

You'd have to run the numbers against a straight purchase to decide which makes more sense.

In FL 36/12k and the dealer is insisting that the residual is 57% on 12k??

I am looking to make a purchase between today and tomorrow so hopefully this is the last time I have to bug you on this but....

I am trying to clarify one last time, as the different trim levels of this truck get really confusing. Apparently the truck I am looking at is an SLT, with a Big Horn Plus package ?? So dealer is saying it goes by SLT numbers not Big Horn. Ultimately I am torn between this and a Sport trim.

With that said can I get the following Ram 1500 Crew lease numbers for FL, both for 36/ 15K.

Sport 4x2 -

SLT 4x2 -

Crew Cab Sport 4x2 - .00019 and 46%

Crew Cab SLT 4x2 - standard MF (around .00180) and 43%

Crew Cab Big Horn 4x2 - .00019 and 54%

I think I know which one I'd go with ....

I am looking at this one (see attachment).... Shows both SLT and Big Horn Plus. I have one dealer quoting me .00047 and 52% residual and the other dealer with the same truck quoting .00019 and 54%

Now I know dealers can mark up money factor but I thought the residual was set by Chrysler?

Yes, the dealer can mark up the MF but the residual is fixed by the bank.

I'm not up on my truck lingo so I really don't know, but if I were to guess, it's the Big Horn trim so should qualify for the Big Horn lease numbers.

Ok so reporting back, I did go ahead and lease the new truck this past weekend.

Ended up with a 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, 2WD, 5.7L
Trim - SLT with a 26T package (combo of Outdoorsman and Big Horn Plus) I have no idea how they decide to package or label these trims. Most confusing part!

After watching them with my own eyes enter the VIN info in the computer to determine Chrysler lease rates...it ended up being a 55% residual, trim related.

36 month/ 15K miles
55% residual
.00050 MF
Sticker - $41,435
Dealer discount - $3200
Rebates - $4000
Truck also has dealer installed tint and drop in bed liner.
I also pushed pretty hard on my trade that I sprung on them at the last minute

Feel I did pretty well all and all.... Thanks for all the help guys!

I think last month 36/10 was at 60% so would be a bigger drop than expected in one month.

Sorry.. you are correct.. that was the 36/15 number. 36/10 is 58%

24/10: .00004 MF and 65% residual (yes.. 10K/yr... lol)

Yes... on Quadcabs and crewcabs for 36 months.. But, not regular cabs.

Our numbers are from Chrysler Capital:

4x2 - .00022 and 65%

4x4 - .00001 and 66%

So, if 4x4, then the dealer is marking up the MF on you by the max allowed.
