Are the October numbers for 2016 Santa Fe AWD Limited with Ultimate package in Ohio .00133 and 57% for 36/15. $2250 lease cash?

Is the $2250 lease cash incentive on top of $750 Valued Owner and $1000 Uber incentives? The MF really increased from last month. More than doubled from .00051 (1.3%) to .00133 (3.1%). Yikes. Maybe that's why there's the extra $2250 cash lease incentive?

I confirm the .00133 and 57% for 36/15 on the AWD Limited.

I don't know if the incentives can be stacked.

Yes, I too suspect that the lease cash increased to offset the increase in the MF. Marketing and finance can manipulate the MF, lease cash and residual to suit their purposes.

Unfortunately, the increase in lease cash does not offset that large of MF increase. I priced it out at dealer last month and then this month and that increase, even taking in account the incentives, meant a monthly increase of about $40 to $45 (our credit is excellent). I'll continue to wait for price/rate improvements. At this point, looks like I'll be driving my older model longer since its owned and have another year left on the extended warranty. In fact, maybe I'm better off keeping it past the warranty and just maintain it. But, I'll continue to watch for better offers.

FWD: .00125 MF and 56% residual.

$3000 lease cash on either model.

Went to the dealer yesterday about the 2016 AWD Santa Fe Limited Ultimate. I asked for pricing on a lease as we are just getting info at this point. Asked for all 36/10, 36/12 & 36/15.  We are current Hyundai owners so he took that into consideration.  Assuming a $2,000 down payment.  Lease quotes were $400, $420 & $440 per month.  He did not provide the actual car price but did mention an MSRP around $42k.

Can you provide the mf, residual and incentives?  What type of a price should I try for when we go back in to actually negotiate the deal?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    .00137 and 57% for 36/12. $3000 lease cash,

    Add 1% for 10K, subtract 2% for 15K.

Need to know the MSRP and negotiated selling price to model a payment.

    Hello,
I just got a quote on the Santa Fe SE AWD with ultimate package for 450/month including tax 36/10 and $1500 down . She said the car price came down to 37500 . I am in California. Do you think this is good deal? My husband thinks she could go down more.

    Thanks!

    What is the MSRP?

Is $1500 the full amount due at signing, or just a downpayment?

    What is your tax rate?

.00137 MF and 58% residual. $3000 lease cash.

If the $1500 pays for 1st payment, acquisition fee and title/registration, I get $442/mo.+tax. You are a bit under that.

We don't really track selling prices, but considering the $3000 lease cash, you are only getting about $2000 off MSRP, otherwise.. Might be some more room.

Looking to lease 2016 Sante Fe AWD Limited with Ultimate that has MSRP OF $41,795. With tax (7% in NJ) and DMV, for 36 months and 15k miles and $1,000 down, the dealer is quoting $450.

A Chevy Traverse with approximately same MSRP, I'm getting a lease of $360.

Any explanation for the huge discrepancy? Thanks.

Different lease programs and incentives. I can buy a 2015 Buick for 20% off sticker, right now, but if I want a 2016 BMW X1, I'll get 5% off. It's apples and oranges

Hard to say ... looks like Hyundai has decided to increase the MF but add more lease cash to compensate. Can't tell you if this is going to be a trend going forward or not.

In the process of leasing Sante Fe AWD Limited with Ultimate Package for 36 months with 15k miles per year. The agreed upon price is $435.00 per month with $1500 down. The lease is in New Jersey, which has a 7% sales tax. MSRP on the vehicle is $42,335 and the sales price is $39,951. I would appreciate feedback on these numbers. Thank you.

We don't have the Hyundai lease numbers for December, so we are unable to evaluate your deal. Sorry.

That said, $435/mo (with tax?) is a decent payment on a $42K SUV.

Lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive that the dealer can pass along to the customer. Can be used to get a lower selling price or to offset the up front costs associated with a lease.

    Residual of $23,405

    36/12? .00117 MF and 56% residual

    I get $443/mo.+tax.

I'll take a guess that the "net cap cost" is not the same as the adjusted cap cost, after acquisition fee, doc fees and title/registration has been added. Find out what that number is, and ask them to reconcile it to their "net cap cost". You might find a lot of garbage in there.

Also, $800 off MSRP doesn't seem like a lot, for a car that the factory is giving $3750 in rebates on.

I concur, the sales manager points out they're giving $800 off on top of the $3750 in rebates. So here's the full offer sheet:

    MSRP $41,795
    Selling Price $39,995
    Government fees $10
    Protection Plan $0
    Accessories $0
    Capitalized Taxes $0
    Acquisition Fee $595
    Security Deposit $0
    Gross Capitalized Cost $40,590.00
    Residual Value $23405
    Trade Allowance $0
    Trade Payoff $0
    Rebate $3,750
    Cash Cap Reduction $0
    Net Cap Cost $36,840
    Amount Paid by Customer $511.67

Not too many fees associated, but my math doesn't add up on this deal.

They don't disclose the money factor, so maybe they are marking it up? Also, they don't break down the payment as payment + tax, which would help.

FWD Limited MF is .00125.. rest is the same.

SE AWD: .00113 MF and 57%
SE FWD: .00121 MF and 58%

We're looking for a Santa Fe possibly for a February lease, requesting Feb numbers when they come out, as well as any incentives you know about.

Is it worthwhile waiting till Presidents Weekend to make a deal? Anything better that weekend than others?

    Bonus $ Offer
    Requirements and Restrictions:
Bonus Cash is available towards leasing. Must finance through Hyundai Motor Finance using special lease rates on 42 month contracts only.
Bonus $ Offer Type Start End
    $3,000 01/13/2016 02/01/2016

I don't see it on Hyundai's website and I don't see what "special lease rates" are....do you have specifics? I assume they mark the MF way up or reduce the residual? Elantra seems to have the same thing, and again I don't see it anywhere else. I want a change to evaluate what that $3k costs.
