2016 Audi S7 Lease Questions

A7 3.0T Prestige is .00091 and 54% for 36/10. Add 1% for AudiCare.

Not 100% certain if AudiCare can be rolled into the cap cost, but the price is correct.

Just checked the Audi USA website, and the price for Audi Care on an A7 is $829 for 2015 ($1,159 for S7). Is the Dealer Prep/Doc fee rolled into the Cap Cost as well? Thanks!

Not usually, but I'm sure you can ask the dealer to roll it in if you'd like.

Hello, Michael. I wanted to check on the current residuals and money factors for a 2016 S7. Have they changed much?

I have two dealers telling me different stories, both for 3 year 7,500 mile leases including Audi Care.

.00126 MF and 56% Residual - 3 year 7,500 miles
.00134 MF and 57% Residual - 3 year 7,500 miles

Can you help me make sense of this?

Ha! Both dealers are marking up the MF.

At the dealer - they're telling me that the lower rates don't apply to vehicles that are low production, like the S7. Is that true? He's telling me .00134.

The numbers for the S7 are the numbers for the S7. That's not a "lower rate" for some other model. That is the specific base money factor for the S7. Ask the dealer if he is marking up the base rate.

So, the dealer isn't willing to back down on the lease numbers. The order has not yet gone into production. Should I tell them to cancel my deal and refund my deposit? Or try to further negotiate the rate? Is the rate still .00088?

.00086 MF and 55% residual for 36mo, 7.5K/yr..

It's your money and the car you want. I wouldn't presume to tell you what to do.

Hi KYFDX,

I'm looking at leasing a new 2016 RS7. Are the best rates from AFS for an RS7 the same as the S7? If not, can you tell me what the MF and Residual are for a 36 months/10K RS7 lease?
Lastly, will the rates change on Dec 1, or do they stay the same during their entire "Season of Audi" year end program?

Current program scheduled to run through the end of the year, but that doesn't mean they can't update it, before then.

And those figures are for the performance model not for regular RS7 right?

I forgot to add sales tax of 9.25%..so I assume for 36/10K would be ~$100 on top of the $2067..

Not surprised there isn't a discount offered on the RS7 - not many available.

I only have one set of numbers for the RS7 - no difference for the performance model.

We get ours from the same place. Can't explain the difference, unless there have been some mid-month updates to the numbers that we don't have.

Look at it this way .. they are quoting you a MF lower than what we did. That's rare around here.

Ok, but MF is higher than yours, I was comparing 1-Time payment (.00017 v .00005) I think its only about $17 a month in interest so not going to make big deal of it. Especially since they are giving me car for $82,500...

Ah, sorry about that. Too many discussions to keep track of the details.

If you are getting a fantastic discount, the dealer may be marking up the MF a tiny bit to make some money on the deal.

They've gotta keep the lights on somehow...

Thanks again for the S7 info, helped save $$$$ when dealer tried to give me MF or .00055 on the 1 pay. Think he realizes, since there is no more rebate money for current Audi owner, he was trying to get some cash back.

Anyway, have a friend buying a S6, can you tell me the Residual and Monthly MF for that car?

Using your prices as is .. and the MF of .00067 and 36/12 residual of 52%, I get roughly $1400/mo assuming 9% tax.

We don't recommend making a down payment of any size on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

However, every $1000 down reduces your pre-tax payment about $28/mo.

Wow thank you for that! I have leased about 4 cars in the last 5 years and I guess I never realized that the money down on a lease would be lost if the car was stolen or totaled! Haha, I just guess I wouldn't feel as guilty with a $1,000 payment as apposed to a $1,400 one, that's why I wanted to put the money down.
