I get $365/mo + tax with those prices; how much of the $2500 is going to cap cost reduction? We don't recommend making any sort of down payment on a lease. That money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

What is the tax rate in ME?

found a copy of the dealer receipt (receipt given when purchased from factory) and it shows my 44k msrp platinum awd with tech pkg was sold for 15k below msrp

are dealers really making that much on a car?

I was able to get the car for 6k off msrp but they still made close to 9k on the deal? Can someone explain this?

Don't have the incentive information or the release schedule.
But, there is a 2016 Murano lease program, this month. So, they shouldn't be too far away.

I get $460/mo + tax, so your quote looks pretty good by comparison, if it includes tax.

Good evening. I'm hoping to get details on any markdowns or dealer incentives on the 2015 Murano Platinum with Platinum Tech package. I'm in California and was told $2,800 total for incentives/rebates and for 12,000 miles/year - 3-year lease Money Factor is .00003 and Residual is 50%. There is also a Dealer Discount of around $3,700 off the MSRP to begin with before rebates.
Oh, and... is the residual based on MSRP, the Total Cap Cost, or something else? How does that impact the possible purchase price in 3-years? Thanks in advance for any info/ideas.

.00003 MF and 50% residual is correct.

Residual is based on full MSRP including destination. Purchase price should be the residual + a small fee.

California, right?

Autonation likes to give a big printout that appears to disclose everything. And, it does on a purchase. But, tax on a purchase is irrelevant to a lease, and won't be part of the CAP cost. Also, your MF is missing a zero (.00003). And, no mention of the acquisition fee for a lease.

So, let's take out the fees (since they are non-taxable, you want pay them upfront), and remove the tax. Then, add the acquisition fee ($595).

So, our CAP cost is now $31,856. Payment is $381/mo.+tax.
Assuming 9% tax, $415/mo.
Due at signing would be 1st payment + $457 in fees listed. (about $875)
