Georgia is one of a handful of states to assess sales tax against the entire selling price - it's called an "ad valorem" tax.

Doc fees seem a bit excessive. Try to mitigate that with a lower selling price.

Thanks for the responses. This might be a dumb question, but assuming that the money factor and the residual is set by the leasing company, is the determining factor on a "good deal" on a lease essentially the percentage off of MSRP that you can get the selling price/cap cost?

The MF can be marked up by the dealer for extra profit. But, discount from sticker is a big factor in your lease payment.

We don't show a lease program for the 2016 model, this month.

Sorry, I am pretty new at this. If it doesn't show a lease program, does that mean that dealerships arent leasing 2016s this month? Or does it mean that the numbers haven't come out yet?

The numbers have been released, but there aren't any for the 2016 Escalade. Which means, to us, it will be very expensive to lease.

Thanks, guys. I have been working with a dealer for the past few days and he just gave me this quote on a 2016 Luxury 2WD, 12K, 39 months:

MSRP: $79,635
Cap Cost: $74,252 (includes $595 Acq and $5022 in taxes)
Money Factor: .00143
Drive off (1st month, title, doc fee): $1629
Residual: 60% - $840 allowance for mileage (has 4400 miles as a demo vehicle)
Monthly payment: $876

I think the numbers add up, and feel like this is a pretty good discount from MSRP. What do you think?

I get $874/mo with those numbers - close enough.

Yes, over $10K off sticker is a pretty healthy discount. Have you tried pushing for more?

Thanks! I have and this I think that this is about as low as they are willing to go. I *think* invoice on this model is around 72K, so without the taxes, I am about 3K under invoice. Of course, it is a loaner so that is accounting for a big portion of the discount.

If you have heard of people getting more than 10K off of sticker on the Escalade, I would love to know how much they ended up paying so I can see if I can negotiate anything additional.

Wierd thing, the dealer seems to be $2/mo off on all calculations no matter the terms. Not sure what is causing this, but felt like it was an easy thing to let go.

We don't track selling prices so can't help you with that.

2016 lease terms from my experience. Luxury 36/10 is 65%, 39/10 is 62%. -1% for 36/12, 39/12

Using the numbers, as is, I get $805/mo. Depending on the rate at which the 4500 demo miles are deducted from the residual, $828/mo seems about right.

This is not information that is widely distributed. The less you know, the better it is for the dealers.

But, at this point, I'm guessing the lease rates for 2016's are not going to be good.

No 2016 Cadillac lease information available. Looks like GM has stopped support of them.

Memorial Day lease deals? Looking at a 2017 demo with $5200 miles at 12k miles for 39 months @ 899/month. Suburban cook county Illinois. Need more info or is this a good deal? Luxury with entertainment package.
