You can google 2003 yukon xl blend door actuator and find sites that show pics and videos of how to repair this. The part is under $100.

Please help.

I've tried every button combo on the climate control, no change... except today. The fool thing stuck on High heat. We had to drive with the windows open to stay cool and it was only 25 outside. I've fixed that with the "disconnect the battery" method referenced earlier. Now it's back to a cold leg for a full day of travel again tomorrow. Any ideas or pointers technical data to allow me to fix this economically?

Thanks
What do you think about a car that is only a 2007 and only having 46,000 miles having this problem?
Problem: My 2002 Yukon XL wouldn't start (no cranking, nothing....). Dealer 1st said it was the alternator (1 yr old), then they said it was the battery (1 1/2 yrs old). They changed the battery.
New Problems: Ever since they put in a new battery, I've had a series of different new problems.
For example:
1) The "ABS & Parking brake lights" display come on & off intermittently on my dash
2) Front and rear wipers no longer work
3) At first the A/C would not blow out of the front dash vents... then the next day they did work. Now a few days later... the left driver side blows cold out of the top & floor vents and the passenger (right) side blows HEAT out of the top & floor vents.
The Dealer has said these are unrelated events. I don't agree.
ANY advice as to what they might have done or how I can fix it??? I have a feeling it's just something they might have accidentally done or a fuse or something that can easily be fixed.... (I'm hoping : )
ALL advice welcome. I want to bring it back ASAP.
thanks!!!!!

The fan and blowers work great, I've got all the controls set according to what the owners manual says, but no hot air, even with the heat turned all the way up. It's like the controls for the rear and far rear are set on permanent A/C. The dealer we bought it from says it might be a solenoid, but I am hoping to not take it to a repair shop if I can help it. Does anybody have any ideas? I LOVE my Yukon except for this.
Thanks for any help

Good luck...
I really don't know how to describe this but I will do my best. In the winter months I have to park my Tahoe outside in the cold. When I start the Tahoe I get a screeching sound that is unbelievably loud for the entire length of time that the door chimes would be on. If the radio is on it will just continue screeching. Once the Tahoe warms up or on days that it is not cold, the Tahoe just does the normal chime.
Does anyone know how to fix this or what it might be? It will scare the crap out of you and it is very annoying. I have had the dealership look at it but by the time I drive it to the dealership the Tahoe has warmed up and it won't do it any longer.
Almost like a sensor is stuck (due to being cold) and then starts working. Any help would be appreciated.
Sure sounds like you need a new heater core.

I'm having an issue with my 2007 GMC Yukon Denali XL. The air/Heat will not blow out of the vents in the front, but works fine in the rear of the vehicle. I do feel a slight bit of air coming out the front vents and when adjusting from hot to cold it does seem to work fine changing temperatures... It just will not blow out as normal as I try to increase the air flow setting. Also it seems that when I accelerate the vehicle, I get a little more air flow. The rear vents of the vehicle works as normal. Auto mechanic seems to think i might have a broken hose due to loss of Freon. Any ideas or similar issues? Thanks
