My wife had to go to Ironton, today. 2.5 hours, each way. She begged me to go, so she wouldn't have to drive by herself. First time to this location.

We went through Wheelersburg on the way back, so I could show her where I lived, etc.. Pretty sure that's the first time I've been back since I left in 1973. I might not have been in town at 1:31 pm today, but I was definitely there at 1:00 pm. Lucky we didn't run into each other.

Found out the old high school I went to is gone... Just a parking lot above the football field.
But, the public pool is still there. And, the house I lived in.

Ended up at Portsmouth Brewing, where I tried an IPA. Because: beer
