Can you give me some more info about this in case of any future camera issues. I wouldn't want to miss any Subie photo ops.
Thanks,
Alan

Jamesburg, NJ is a Canon Factory Service Center for Canon EOS 10D (SLR) and other digital and film SLRs (1D, 1Ds, 20D, Digital Rebel, D30, D60, EOS-3). My 10D is almost out of warranty and I thought I'd have the focus calibrated.
I'll be driving my 40mpg Honda Civic (yes, Ken, still driving the 1993) so there won't be a Subie photo op but if you'd like to meet for coffee or something I'd like to meet you (preferably at a local coffee shop, unless Charbucks has exterminated them). I'll drop off the camera at 9am.. If by some miracle Canon can adjust it that day, I'll shoot some macro at Longwood Gardens on the way home.
Ooh, I can't wait to experience Baltimore and Philadelphia rush hour traffic, both on the same day!

Actually, a 40mpg anything sounds good these days.

Hope all is well with everyone, figured I'd duck in here. Anyone know of any Desktop Support positions in the NY/NJ area open? I'm desperately looking for a new job. The trading thing isn't working for me

Anyway, I need to get ready for school, so I will TTY'allL with more news.

i did not know that they had an annual presentation about the aztek

Something is slightly counter-intuitive here. Unless Jeb has found a way to literally make fewer students (by export, maybe...), shouldn't reduced class size create more opportunity for teachers? (Oh, maybe this is another example of the new math that I just couldn't master when I was a kid...)
Anyhow, we all wish you well, and hope you land on your feet by next September.
Steve
Must be something to do with technical types buying Subies. :surprise:

With MOHs surgery they take a thin slice, then examine it under a microscope if they got all the cancer. If not you go back for another slice, and continue until they get it all. The doctor said expect to spend the entire day there, Fortunately they got all in the first pass.
In 60 years I've never had stitches anything, and since the first of the year I've had four basil cells, all requiring stitches. From what I understand, there are only 2 doctors in the state of MD that do this procedure. Supposedly there will be less scaring, with MOHs surgery.

Cheers Pat.
I scheduled surgery on my finger ... it's not for awhile yet .. got it on the calendar for when school is out ..

Wasn't Bob elected "Most Handsome" in his high school? Maybe he's being a bit nostalgic and worrying about his looks.
Jim: Brenda can out-type me with one hand. She could probably out-type me with her NOSE! LOL

Because of the sun risk down under, we tend to be hyper-sensitive to any skin problems. The Australian Anti-Cancer Council has done a fine job of warning Australians of the risk of excessive sun exposure and it s rare to see a kid with exposed skin in high UV condirtions. Adults reap the benefit as most skin cancers are established as kids but only manifest years later.
Perversely, the care Australians take with their skin, because of he recognized risks, means that you can spot non-Australians more esasily in summer- they are the ones with very sun-tanned skin whilst the locals merely have a healthy glow.
Not sure what that has to do with Subarus unless one should warn on keeping your sun roof closed on the brightest days.
Cheers

Actually that's true (yeah, I know, it was an ugly high school class), but then at my 20th year high school reunion I was also voted the guy who lost the most hair—and if another vote were to be held today, I'd probably get the Frankenstein award, thanks to all the stitches.
Oh well, the higher you rise, the lower you fall...

We keep one in the diaper bag for the kids, too. Gotta be prepared.

As for Florida's class size amendment, they move kids around from one school to another; the school I teach in had students from Coral Springs (where I live) and Parkland (the rich snooty town!; minimum zoning 1 acre, minimum house price $750K). The Parklanders have been trying to get Westglades Middle zoned only for Parkland; unsuccessful until one of the School board members opposed to that moved to Parkland where her husband wants to run for some political office there...need I say more? So now, no kids from Coral Springs; as those from Coral Springs go on to high school and no new 6th graders from there come in, you have your class size reduction as well as a reduction in overall student population and then reduction in staff.
Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone - celebrate my birthday for me, wouldja? Thanks!
Cheers! (virtual Coronas all around!)

I hope Chris joins in, I think that was his name.

Hope everything works out, and that this is it. How long till you get all the results back? (Or did you, and I am just slow to read?)

Had a nice road trip to the beach this past weekend. The contrast in gas prices are shocking. Leaving home, we pass by a Shell station where gas costs $2.49 for regular. Near the end of the trip, in Ocean City, MD, we saw gas for $1.97, and it was name brand, not generic.
Got better than 25mpg in each direction. Not bad given the heavy load.

This is in front of the rear wheel right at the end of the rocker panel.
I suggested that this be addressed in the redesign, and iIalso noticed that nobody else commented on this. Well I was looking over a neighbours new legacy topday and I saw that they have added a complete inner fender liner in the rear wheel well. This eliminates the mudtrap completely.
I am not naive enough to think that this was entirely my doing but it is nice to think that Obviously Subaru agreed and took steps to deal with it, also maybe my suggestion here had a little influence anyway.
Cheers Pat.

Cheers Pat.
They are both left open to drain the puss and crap and will need stitchs to close. But last night she was once again admitted to hospital with another attack of Pancreatitis, you may remember that this was what started the whole chain reaction last year which almost killed her. She also has a urinary tract infection, all these infections are worrisome along with the pancreatitis which is serious enough on it's own.
She is still very fragile health wise and does not still have a lot of natural reistance to fight this stuff off. So she needs all the prayers and help she can get.
Incidently we need your prayers too to get trough this once again.
Cheers Pat.
