You'll get used to that sleep deprivation thing. Turner Classic Movies helped me a bit. :P
Ed
You'll get use to the (lack of) sleep and then before you know it they're walking, talking, taking the car, and graduating. Brooke is going to be 6 in May, Brogan will be 4 in June. It goes by quick even though some of those early nights seem to last forever when your baby is awake.

The best advice I can give you and Jennie is "SLEEP WHEN THE BABY SLEEPS." Don't try to get all your chores done while the baby is sleeping. Get your rest first.
Take care,
Jim
I think he'll be accepting the Philly school though. So we may may have a doctor in the family!

Hope you enjoy fatherhood as much as I have.
We had one. I think the door actually fell off at one point.
Not sure if that's true, I was too young, but a myth like that is something you believe when a car is truly that bad.
I'm convinced that car had a poltergeist! :lemon:
I'm a good example. The domestics may be just as good a value, just as reliable as my Nissans are and have been. But the Nissans haven't given me any reason to NEED to look elsewhere. If my Versa turns out to be a clunker, then I may look to other pastures.
Same would apply for folks who never had a bad experience with a domestic. Why would they go import?
That's certainly a very high hurdle to overcome. You certainly can't do that overnight.
Nah, it's the new 3.6l engine.
Time goes by fast. I have been up late for several of the past few nights helping my now 11 year old with her 5th grade science fair project. She has always been interested in my 'talking machines' and has been studying Thomas Edison. So we went with Accoustic Recording and built a hand crank cylinder concept based on Edison's original "Mary had a little lamb" machine. I have been teaching her woodworking, basic mechanics, etc.

Cheers Pat.
Tell you what, I had not been on the ice for about 17 years, I felt like I had to learn to skate again!
A couple of sessions and I'm doing OK, but still nowhere near the skill level I had in high school.
I also need to sharpen my blades. Any recommendations on where to have that done? The rink itself has a pro shop but it never seems to be open when I need it.
Tell me about it. I remember bringing both my kids home. Now my ten year old son is starting his second year of lacrosse and is expected to be a co-captain. He's earning his Webelos badge and has told me that he plans to achieve Eagle. My daughter is now seven and is being recruited by a more competitive gym.
It's amazing to see their accomplishments!!
We went skiing on Monday and my son asked me to snowboard with him. I took a lesson and took a good fall but by the end of the day my son was cheering me on. Kind of cool that Papai was able to do it.
I am sitting here cuddling with my 2.75 y.o. son - he's having a bad day (fever and whatnot). I look down and wonder how nearly 3 years have slipped by already, and yet that is just a drop in the bucket.
I didn't get married and finish college until I was in my late 30's. My son was born when I was in my early 40's. When I went out west a few years ago to attend his wedding, his future brother in law was trying to place me in the proper pew in church. He asked if I was the grooms father or grand father. I still chuckle, but it made me feel a little old.

i'm not a big 'wedding mama' ...
Or at least a WRX wagon, because Mitsu never offered the EVO wagon over here.
Would that be with normal hours up there? Good luck with it!
BTW, I was thinking of you this morning. Driving to the park-n-ride on SI, there was an undercover Dodge Charger car who pulled someone over. Their getting devious on the Island.

Paid off the Evo with a 401k loan so I'm paying myself back instead of the bank-- wasn't a lot, anyway-- and Jen's car payment is about $200 for her '03 Hyundai Sonata which we bought for $9k back in October.
Even if it snows.
