    I have a few questions on numbers I was given today. My current lease is not up for another year but I am ahead on my payments because I am above where I should be on my mileage.

    I went into the local Jeep dealership today to look at a Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee. I was shocked at how well the numbers came out on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. Below are the numbers, please tell me if this appears to be a good deal.

    MSRP: $46.645
    Sale Price: $44,563
    Doc Fee: $75.00
    Rebates: $6,250
    Down Payment: $3,500 (My Choice)
    Money Factor: 0.00008
    Residual: 49% ($22,856.05)
    Miles/yr: 10,000 (will likely do 15,000)
    42 month term
    Monthly Payment: 376.53

    Thank You, what is the residual for 42 months and 15k miles/yr?

    Is there any room to negotiate on the sale price. I plan to go back to the dealership and see if they will meet me in the middle of my negative equity in my current lease. I plan to seek $15,500 for my trade. My current vehicle is a 2018 Ford Escape SEL with 35,600 miles so I feel my request is pretty reasonable.
