That's way overpriced. They are just shooting you a really high number so you'll capitulate at a lower but still overpriced number. Get a lease calculator and negotiate on the price of the vehicle and the MF/APR. It usually takes me about a week to negotiate on a vehicle through email to get a good deal. Unless you owe thousands on a trade that number is ridiculous.

I don't know if Cadillac/GM has rules about how much they can mark it up but as far as I know they can mark it up as much as they want, but you don't have to pay that. I refuse to pay extra to borrow money. I've worked hard to get a near perfect credit score. I'm entitled to the best rates. Of course when you say that they will just try to get profit on another aspect of the deal.

Why does this seem so high? Where do I subtract the discount from? Before or after the residual?
