    What is your location?
    I am putting down $5000. That will cover 1st month payment, taxes bank fee, tags. about $1500 left over toward cap cost reduction. so walk out $5000 out of pocket, $582 per month.
    Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, with the CCR factored in.

    Though, my opinion - skip that, roll the fees and taxes into the lease, take the higher payment and smaller due at signing.

    If the car is stolen or totaled, that up front money is .... gone.

    That seems like a reasonable/typical quote for this vehicle.

    The next cheapest quote for the same priced car and terms as I listed above was $688 per month. $582 vs $688 per month is a huge difference. I can understand a reasonable difference, but some dealers are absurd in their initial offer. It seems a lot of sales people "forget" to throw in the incentives until you remind them. I see people in the dealerships listening to a lot of nonsense the salespeople throw out at them. I feel sorry for people with no or limited knowledge of money factors, residuals and cap cost reductions when leasing cars. It should be mandatory that dealerships provide you with a print out of all available manufacturer incentives and interest rates so you can see what is available to you. At least then you can make an educated decision wether it is a good deal for you.

    Well, it's not required by law, so the dealers won't disclose the MF unless you push them.
