Do you have lease info on the 2021 Mirai? They have arrived at my local Toyota dealer. If you have it, can I get the MF, residual, and incentives for XLE and Limited 36/10k in 94118?

Take those with a grain of salt. The differences don't make much sense

Current SoCal purchase incentives on 2021 Mirai through 7/6/2021 are:

0% financing for 72 months through TFS
$20,000 rebate (taxable) on Limited
$15,000 rebate (taxable) on XLE - was $20,000 earlier this year
$15,000 fuel debit card - if you can find hydrogen - many stations are offline at any given time
21 days of free car rental

Sales tax here is a deal killer - around $5K on an XLE. They calculate tax before the rebate.

My question: are there any undisclosed dealer incentives on the XLE?

Best I've been able to do is $500 over invoice. Guess I'll wait to see if Toyota ups the ante in the next program.

Still waiting to see if Toyota is going to up the ante with more incentives. For the XLE with its longer range and near-equal amenities, it seems that the economics of purchasing would be better than leasing, due to $8K Federal + $4.5K state tax rebates. Yet the current $15K cash on XLE purchases and 0% financing still falls short for me. One issue is sales tax, which amounts to around $5K.

I can see where some would prefer to lease. Challenges getting hydrogen fuel have caused some others to give up on FCEVs entirely - so the ability to return the car at lease end is worth something.

New programs tomorrow! Hoping for some big factory-to-dealer incentives to reduce the purchase price. (And how high can those lease residuals go??) They'd better do something. Mirais make up a third of the entire new car inventory at some SoCal dealers.

Mission accomplished. New September purchase incentive of $20K on XLE (it’s $25K on Limited). Add to that a dealer discount of $4K, Federal tax rebate of $8000, California rebate of $4500. Then $15K in free fuel with 6 years to metabolize it. Zero percent financing for 72 months. No money down. Effective price for my Oxygen White 2021 Mirai XLE with Tech Package was a few hundred dollars more than sales tax + DMV.

Entire deal arranged by phone. In the F&I office, I politely declined the extended warranty. Stopped to top off the tank on the way home: $15 in free hydrogen courtesy of Toyota. Happy happy. Do the math - you can buy an XLE for a lot less than a lease. Not all dealers will discount and many will add dealer options, so shop wisely. Good luck!
