    Questions -- Where do these numbers come from? And how authoratative are they?

    One dealer is giving me MF of 0.00139, and another is giving me 0.00143 before even checking credit (which is 780). Both dealers are using Chase for leases. Are they just being safe? Will this MF change after chedit check?

    Any recourse to get them to lower the MF?

    The numbers are from Land Rover Financial (aka Chase)

    The dealers are marking up the rate for extra profit.

    Need MF & RV at 39 months/10k Miles & 7.5K Miles--44145

    Currently on last few months of 39/10k Lease on '17 Disco Sport HSE, extended +6 Months due to COVID. LR Financial (Chase) provided Payoff of $26,756. for '17 (includes tax).

    Would like to use '17 to lower Lease on '21.

    Quotes from CarMax: $27k; Edmunds: $28,587; Dealer Retail Value: $34,742; Private Party Value: $31,635.

    What steps to lower lease on '21 using '17 HSE?

    Your quotes aren't much above payoff. Seems unlikely the dealer will make any offers that will result in positive equity for you, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

    If you decide to sell to Carmax, or another third party, make sure that entity tells you the payoff before agreeing to the deal. Their payoff of your lease might be different from your payoff.

    Listed on Website as "New". Dealership Manager stated on phone call that vehicle has never been Titled...

    Wouldn't share any '17 equity, offering only $45.00 over Actual Chase Payoff + Taxes amount.

    He did have the appropriate Brit accent, however. : 0

    BTW, sales taxes aren't paid, if the dealer buys out your lease. There might be some equity in there for you.

    Tip pays off... sharing your equity info with same dealer and they concurred with a drop in monthly lease quote of $60.00 + if the dealership were to purchase the vehicle for a Trade.

    Still have Inflated MF and deflated RV issues. Is August a Sales Quota month, typically?

    Dealer did agree with sales tax abatement if they purchase '17 off Lease, resulting in better monthly payment with additional cash into the deal.

    However,
    Dealership Quote remains with MF of .0029 vs. .00029 for '21 SE with 7.5k miles on odometer.

    Dealership calculating RV of 52% vs. 57% for new '21 SE claiming USED status, even though vehicle has never been titled and is being offered as "NEW".

    Question about August being a Quota Month... just asking if there are additional Sales Incentives for Dealerships during Month of August to meet or exceed sales quotas to earn Bonuses from Manufacturer?

    Not a good offer at all... a quote from the Dealership head honcho: "Unfortunately Land Rover sets the rates and residuals, and does not allow the dealers, including myself to change money factors or residuals."

    Partially correct - dealer cannot change the residual, but they most assuredly can markup the money factory. And, most of them do.

    Lease 39 Months, 10k Miles. What would a realistic Money Factor and RV look like? LR Dealerships are quoting MF's in the 00xxx range.

    I think there is a typo in your payment quote - I'm pretty sure I'd jump on a $155/mo payment (unless it required $25K down).

    Lol sorry, no the $155/mo is JUST for the MF. They want over $900/mo for the lease (36/12).
