Can I get current Residual and MF for a 2022 Cayenne Lease (it's a Service Loaner with 3400 miles on it) in 10079 Zip Code (Manhattan) Please?

FYI--I'm getting quoted .00340 which looks accurate given today's rates but I think they are screwing with me on Residual rate at 47% for 39 month/7500 mile lease.

    Thank you!

    What trim?

The residual is adjusted downward to account for the existing miles - the dealer cannot mess with the calculations, as they are set by the bank.

.00340 is indeed the base MF for Porsche, this quarter.
This is the standard trim. Here is the deal they are quoting:

    Original MSRP is $89,800
    New Selling price is $80,995

I have a car I'm trading with $4K in equity and they want an additional $6,643.37 in drive off (I haven't gotten the breakdown yet).

From what I'm calculating I think there the drive off is too rich. Unless it includes both first and last month payment and then maybe it's closer to reasonable?

    Thoughts?

What is due at signing could include the following:

    First payment
Sales Tax (due up front in NY)
    Acquisition fee ($1095 for Porsche)
Dealer fee (capped at $75 in NY, IIRC)
    Cap reduction (aka down payment)

Once you get the breakdown of the $6600 and change, we can see where the deal stands. What payment are they quoting?

Yep so since this is my first leasing experience in NY it was the Sales Tax throwing me off here-- this is, essentially the breakdown (I might be off by a few dollars)

    $265 Registration
    $1.95 Misc
    $1095 Bank Fee
    $175 Inspection Fee
$25 (I forget what he said)
    $12.50 Tire Tax
    $3747.21 Sales Tax
    First Payment of $1110.95
Total Due: $6432.61. (Slightly different from original $6643.37)

PLUS...remaining equity in my 2014 Rover Sport estimated at $3500 (they will adjust up or down based on actual which I think is closer to $4500-$5000 but assuming rolling in the $3500.

Payment is $1110.95 for 39 months with 7500 miles.

Quoted residual is 47% (Original Sticker was $89,800 selling price of $80,995) Residual Value is $42,206.00
    Money Factor .00340

Thanks in advance for your feedback and expertise.

So, it's $6432 upfront PLUS the $3500 equity from your current vehicle?
And, it's Base trim? (not an S).

    .00340 MF and 64% residual

There has to be something about the car that makes it ineligible for the new car residual. We don't know how Porsche handles loaner vehicles, but for most makes, 3400 miles wouldn't result in that drastic of a reduction in residual.

I can't see how that residual can be correct, because if it was, then even putting the $3500 equity in as a CAP reduction, the payment would be $1312/mo, which is much higher than the quoted payment.

Maybe, it is a Credit Union lease, and not PFS? I don't know, but the numbers don't make sense, at all. I get the feeling that the true residual is not correct.

No, it's not 64% residual, they are telling me 47% residual due to the mileage of being a Service Loaner. That too seems like a. heavy hit but....all in all when I run the numbers the $1110.95 payment does seem reasonable but I don't know if 47% residual is correct--if 63% is the new car number 15% hit for a car with only 3000 miles seems like a lot--might be better off leasing new?

It might be cheaper to lease new... Because the residual would be $14K higher.

But, here's the thing. The residual can't be 47%, unless there are figures you don't know about. Because the math just doesn't work to get that $1110 payment. No point in looking for a different option, until you know the actual numbers on this deal. It's possible there is some sort of incentive that is dropping the adjusted CAP even lower than Selling price minus Equity.

Thanks for this. Is timing ever a factor with MF / Porsche or is this typically how high it is for those models?

The MF has been at .00340 for 6-9 months.

Porsche only updates their programs quarterly, so there won't be any changes until July.
