Hi, first time potentially leasing but have done a lot of homework over the past week. I've been looking at a 2023 Honda Accord Sedan LX at a 36 month/10,000 annual mileage lease around zip code 10306, NYC. What would be the money factor and residual value?
After visiting a handful of dealers in my area, I have found a deal for $249 at 36 months, $2995 down (no incentives or trade in). This dealer is adding no AMV to the MSRP on this lease deal. Is this a really good deal or am I calculating the MF or something else incorrectly? Thank you very much in advance!
That is a 3rd party lease.
Even when amortizing the down payment, that works out to about $330/mo, which is not bad for a $28K car in the current market.

Thanks for the reply! This is coming straight from a Honda dealership in NYC, and I was surprised to see no AMV at all. The sales rep told me that they are putting this out as a "very competitive deal" compared to everyone else. Since he didn't give me the RV, I plugged 62% seeing as 3 year/10k leases seem to always have that figure for this model. If everything else stands and they don't add any surprise fees, isn't the MF/APR extremely low even compared to the "base Honda MF"? I will be going tomorrow to get more information and make a decision, but this is so far the best pricing I've seen around NYC/NJ by a long shot.

Yes, the MF is what tipped me off to the fact that this isn't from Honda Finance. That's pretty common to find in NY.

I see, good to know. Is there anything "wrong" with having a lender that's not HFS or things I should watch out for and ask the dealership about? I am hoping that the rep honours this price as I am almost ready to go for it.

At lease end, a local bank or credit union may not be as forgiving as a captive lender. Also, you'll likely forego any loyalty perks from Honda, if you want to lease or buy another one.
Some 3rd party banks may have egregious lease-end conditions. You'll have to read the contract.

Hi - I'm interested in an Accord Hybrid EX-L (2023). I know some of these models have the blind spot technology and some do not. I see a lot of different acronyms on dealer sites and it is hard to know if this means the car does or does not have the full technology safety package. Could you please give some insight into the acronyms and their meaning? BD is one, but I've seen a much longer one, as well. Thanks!

w/o BSI means it's missing the chip. BSI would mean it has it.
