We only have the numbers from Santander; if the dealer is using a different bank, we can't help you confirm what they've provided.

They were using Santander as well. They came up with a MF of .4000 and a .59 residual.

Well, the dealer cannot mess with the residual - that's fixed by the bank. They can, however, mark up the MF for extra profit.

Or, they are giving you a higher MF until they run your credit.

They may quote you a higher MF before they run your credit, just to be safe.

Or, could be a different bank.
