    Is selling price a value calculated solely based on deducting the dealer discount ?

    My understanding is that rebates/incentives are applied after the selling price has been negotiated with the dealer.

    Is my understanding correct ?

    In this case MSRP will be reduced by a dealer discount giving us a selling price and then 7500 + 1000 (lease cash + loyalty) will be applied

    Just making sure I have the correct concept in my head

    Yes, you always want to negotiate the lowest selling price, before the incentives are applied.

    Not that I think you'll get very far on a brand new, in demand model like this.

    Terrible pricing from Mercedes

    76275 MSRP

    GLE 450e

    36 months and 10K miles

    1400 per month with everything (taxes and fees) rolled up in to monthly payment

    May be I could have insisted and ended up with 1350 per month - wasn’t sure that I would get it but that was the number I expected with 0% off MSRP

    This was after 7500 PHEV + 500 AMEX

    Loyalty of 1000 is restricted to MB leases ending in the next 3 months

    I simply walked away because I had said no to much better quotes for 2024 X5

    Even a GLE 450 can’t match the overall performance of X5

    What an overrated brand

    Even their outgoing E Class has terrible pricing

    Disappointed

    GLE 450e drives like a GLE 350

    Unless you drive it in sports mode and that is when the battery power blends with gasoline engine to give you a good kick

    Still both 450e and 450 are no match for X5

    For those shopping, a similarly priced X5 is 200 to 250 USD cheaper in terms of monthly payments

    1) their money factor is lower

    2) dealer discounts of 3% to 6% are possible

    Not a BMW fan boy and these are facts

    I really wanted an MB but the car has to be worth it

    Unless you urgently need a car, avoid buying or leasing anything - applies to all brands

    Give it another year or two and the car market should come down to reasonable levels
