Hi, Looking for the numbers RX 350 Premium AWD 36 month and 10K in NJ.

On the side note, it is very difficult to come up with the actual number given so many fees that dealership charges. Dealership in PA advertises a $4000 discount, but their monthly amount is way higher than what I was able to calculate using Edmunds lease calculator. Either I am bad in math or they are doing something wrong. Here is what they gave me. only MF is missing, but I would assume they should use something around .0024 that I saw on this forum for June for the same configuration.
Another thing that is missing is their Acquisition fee. Lets say its is $750, still, don't think their calculation is right..

Please let me know what you think of this quote and if it was calculated correctly. $4000 discount should be a good deal?

    Payment Detail
    MSRP $56,149.00
    Savings $4,000.00
    Selling Price $52,149.00
    Rebates $750.00
    Taxes NJ (6.625%) $2,282.10
    DMV/Registration $350.18
    Documentation Fees $477.00
    Other Fees $810.82

    Lease
    36 Mo 10,000 mi | 62% RES
    $0.00 Customer Cash - $934.60
    $2,500.00 Customer Cash - $847.30
    $5,000.00 Customer Cash - $761.90

    Thanks,
    D

    .00270 MF and 65% residual
    $750 lease cash

I'm not positive, but I think the Lexus acquisition fee is $650, though it might be $795.
That could be included in their "Other Fees".

62% residual would be the Premium PLUS trim

It would be helpful to ask for the actual money factor, as it may be marked up. And, check on the trim.
Thank you, So if I plug in these numbers into lease calculator (with 65 residual and .0027 MF, using 750 Acquisition fees, 810 dealer fees and $3110 in taxes and other fees, I am getting $651 a month before Taxes and fees ($5040). Is this accurate? I am not even getting close to their quoted numbers..
Since they say the residual is 62%, I'd guess they are quoting you a different trim. That alone would add $40/mo to the payment
but with 65% is my calculation accurate?
What are you using for the adjusted CAP?
I did not put anything (0) as my goal is to pay only first payment, tax and fees upfront
The adjusted CAP is the selling price minus any rebates

I wouldn't pay all those taxes and fees upfront, just roll them in.

One more question, where do you get Money Factor info? Is it official Toyota Financial info? You are right, this dealership is questioning .0027 money factor, and they are saying that theirs, which is 0035 is more accurate. lol!

They are marking up the rate for extra profit. Our numbers come from Lexus

got it. Thanks! They reduce the price but charging more as interest... But at least I have a benchmark what to look for. I guess $4000 discount is doable and with $750 cash back on the lease and .0027 money factor and hopefully reasonable fees, is is possible to get within $740-$750 range a month including fees and taxes and with nothing upfront (except first payment) . Off to car shopping !

I think you'll have to first determine the trim. If they are quoting a Premium Plus, there is probably no way

They actually came back and told me they made a mistake. They said that Residual value is 66% for AWD Premium, but they wont badge on MF.

They are basically marking up your rate by 2% APR. That adds $70-$80 per month.. taking away most of your discount.

Even at all that, you should be around $845/mo, with just first payment upfront. Not with $2500 Due at Signing, as in their quote.

I'd ask them to re-quote the payment, with just first payment Due at Signing, and with the proper residual. It's possible they haven't re-calculated the whole thing.

They just came back asking to show a proof where I see this rate. Is there somewhere on Lexus website I can make a screenshot of the APR rate? I can screenshot them this forum, but I'm not sure they will like it :-)

@dimka153 Just ask them to tell you the truth: Is .00270 the buy rate, or not? At least you'll know what you're dealing with, when you get the answer..

Or, just offer them what you want: $750/mo with 1st payment Due at Signing... and see what they say
