Anyone else on the road for June?
But only 73 here in Colorado.
Wife decided that if we were to move to Santa Fe, she'd want to live in the neighborhood around Canyon Road.

Farina Pizza was the lunch stop in ABQ on a section of the old Route 66. Excellent.

I actually rather like how foreign cuisine adapts to locally available produce. The Hawaiian Pizza is an Australian staple food, especially for kids. When ordering pizza for a party, the pretty standard order is "One Meatlovers, one Hawaiian, one Capriciosa and a side of garlic bread".
Australia, especially Melbourne where I live, has a huge Italian culture and food features heavily. Actually, I should mention that we also have a massive Greek culture (Melbourne is supposedly the third largest Greek city in the world), Macedonian and heaven knows how many different Asian. We love food, coffee and beer!
Kind of like Canada, very diverse, some city dwellers who think they are sophisticated Europeans when they are far from it, and lots of people in flyover areas who seem kind of Americanish.
Would dearly love to go back.
Have you been to the Redneck Riviera in the AL and FL panhandle
I rather liked the "Arkansas with Beaches" line and found where it came from http://i.imgur.com/XL3FZVS.png It is described as the world's most offensive map, although displaying some remarkable truisms!

Take a nice road trip in NA, you can see a variety from freaks to stoners and everything in between.
Hilarious road trip story detailing our recent long term purchase up in Boise - a genuine Yugo.

Doing the drive back to Taos in the morning with a detour to Mora before hitting the big resort. Gonna dogsit for our off-grid friends for a week. The transmission is clunking a bit shifting from Park to Drive or Reverse. Maybe if we can kill this van I'll get more excited about buying something new. At least I know a good mechanic up there now, LOL.
It's a good thing I don't have @fintail's dash cam. I'd have to upload ~8 hours of gorgeous Western scenery to YouTube if I did. We went the "back" way via Alamogordo, brunch at Carrizozo, and on to Las Vegas to Mora to Taos, mostly via US 54. It was just one of those beautiful days with mountains all over and those ten mile long desert vistas.
Always nice to meet the neighbours!
Cheers

Anyone been on the road lately?
If I go, I'll probably fly.

Now that would be a road trip.
I may take a short trip to go se the Mets beat up the Phillies tonight. I have that all too uncommon feeling as a Mets fan - optimism. All hail the parakeet!
Their comments were typically,
"If you ever have a chance to go to Mumbai, DON'T!"
As for road trips, I was trying to finagle a road trip from NC to Oregon last month to help a friend out who needed a car swap but he wasn't up for it.
