Found a used Murano on CL "for sale by owner" and was about to go check it out until I reverse number searched the seller and figure out he's a curbstoner.
Why would you consider that? You have a warehouse of CVT replacements you need to use up?

Gave the Wrangler a bath for the 1st time since I got it back at the end of March. The Hydro Blue does a good job at not looking filthy.
Re: I spotted an (insert obscure car name here) classic car today! (Archived)
Edit: Time for a couple of gratuitous "my car is all cleaned up for the car show" pics

Or, rather "about as cleaned up as it's gonna get..." Thankfully, that color is very forgiving when it comes to showing dirt and such.

That's the furthest her MKC has ever gone on a single tank of fuel.
Later, she visited the new house. Good progress being made.

Grouting a whole room like that...UGH!!!!Make no mistake about it. The only work I did was load the tiles into my Jeep (18 cases at a time) and then unload them at my house. I'm paying a professional to do this for me.
Absolutely the worst part of tiling.
Having said that...nice choice on the tile. Well done.

I always cringe when I see people replace basement carpet with new carpet after a flood (yes, it happens)... like what more sign do they need not to put carpet in their basement?!?

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous (Archived)
It’s been a long couple of years here at casa de nyccarguy. The last time I posted photos of my basement, it was under 2 1/2 feet of water back in September. While I had the walls fixed & painted relatively quickly, we weren’t quite sure what to do with the basement floor. We decided to go with porcelain tile.

Initial impressions
- the pearl white paint over black wheels with carbon fiber spoiler is very nice looking.
- Everything about the size is expected to me - it is much bigger height wise and has way more storage. The 21” wheels are massive.
- The driving dynamics are very different. First, our 3 was RWD, so was dramatically lighter and felt more nimble relative to the dual motor the performance has. That said it handles beautifully and precisely. Just more like a performance crossover (think X3 M).
- This is the fastest car I’ve ever driven and is the first time I’ve owned a car that I could truly get myself into trouble with. The nice thing is the throttle as with all teslas is very linear. If you punch it the power is there and will pin you to the back of your seat, but there isn’t obnoxious tip in and it is very easy to manage in normal driving.
- Everything about the Interior, controls, etc is as expected coming from the 3. Audio system is much much improved from the base model and it comes with aluminum pedals for the performance.
Was the performance model necessary? Absolutely not. Do I regret it? Absolutely not.
