So I am fairly certain I have been given a green light to make a purchase.

Took the truck out today for the first time in a while. Wife was complaining about the ride, as she is apt to do. And she said “what are you thinking about replacing it with?”

Went through some of my thought process and, at one point, she said, “why concern yourself about towing capacity? If it has 4000 lb limit, for example, then just use the van for those instances when you need more.” (I’m paraphrasing the confusing wife-speak that contained this sentiment.) hmmm… not a bad idea. As long as I don’t HAVE to always tow with the van, because that is just so massive with a trailer attached.

In the convo, one thing she said was, “how about a Bronco?” I explained that’s still like $40k used. She said, “Oh. So you’d have to get rid of like everything else.” At least she understands the man-math involved here. A for effort.

Is that her subtle way of saying get rid of everything else? lol

The Arteon was put in move mode yesterday as we moved our daughter into an apartment. As luck would have it the delivery of the sofa got delayed but the new mattress was not. Her cousin will join her as a roommate next week with all her stuff and furniture


. It is a nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment in a new complex that is about 2 miles from us. I am excited for her.
