Pretty sure that was the last line of my reply, above
Yes thank you. I was confirming, not coming up with something new.

We had at least one H. H. Gregg here. I bought my over-range microwave there. Also bought a tablet PC to replace an iPad and ended up returning it and buying another iPad, lol.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Lease Deals, Incentives, Rebates, and Prices
Thanks for the analysis. You can't pay taxes upfront in California, as they are assessed on the monthly payment, and collected monthly. The only upfront tax is on CAP reductions.
I guess ignoring my photo: I have a deal where I put down $2219 cash at signing and walk out with $410/month plus tax for an SEL FWD at manufacturer MSRP $38959. If you're saying the adjusted cap cost has to be $34,500 to achieve this, sounds like I'm at ~11% under MSRP.
I'll check my numbers, but what I see is that our net cap cost values are different. The guy basically told me he won't remove those nonsense accessories but increase the the "discount" to $3066. There is additional $2000 rebate listed down at the monthly payment numbers. So that's a selling price of $38,959+(749*3)-3066 = $38,140 and then additional rebate of $2000 makes $36,140. after incentives. I didn't add taxes and fees to the Net Cap Cost because I'm paying those up front ($2219) but please correct me if this is wrong.
Again, the numbers provided are for a purchase. We don't know the lease parameters because they aren't disclosed.

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
I hate screamer ads like that…. Anything can be under $100/month with enough money down!

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
Q - I don't think they are quite that cheap
Sample Equinox
$43.500 MSRP
24/10 = $269/$269 OOP
MF- .00212
$4500 total incentives
8.61% discount before rebate
900 Doc
1100 DMV
3.31 Tax Rate (EVs aren't zero tax anymore)
From what I read...you can do a 36 month and add the "Charge Up NJ" for an additional $2000 but it only yields $14 /month
"Auto Ninjas" has a pretty good thread going right now.

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
Saw a new GTI in Moonstone Gray in our parking lot on Tuesday and really liked the color. Close to a cement color which ain't bad. Don't really like the white or the new blue color. Think another test drive is in order but same problem as last time, don't like the alloys on the "SE" model...prefer those on the "S" model instead. Not sure if they'd do a swap for me like last time. And now, the tire size is 225/40/18 while i've got 225/45/17 on the current Golf. Definitely a bigger tire with a skinnier sidewall meaning the ride will be different. So, a few things to think about before I do anything.
Plus, our 6 years old a/c unit is having some issues again and am just tired of it! It's been in the low 90's on a daily basis with the lows in the upper 70's. And it's only June! Called my a/c folks and the prices for a new 3.5 ton unit was $6600 for a Goodman unit and $7250 for a Trane! Again, sticker shock has paralyzed me from moving forward. They no longer carry the York a/c's that they were pushing when we bought in 2019. A crazy world we live in now!!!
