Well I learned from shifty of blessed memory that a Porsche will run for a long time and a lot of miles, unlike a Ferrari, for instance.

He did not say it would be inexpensive...

But if you're going to daily a car like that, I'll take the Porsche.

@28firefighter - wow! We want pics! How does the warranty work on something that old--I assume it's an aftermarket warranty? Are you planning on doing a Doug Demuro and trying to put 60k on it in the next five years to get all of the warranty benefits?

I haven't seen that type before. It works, cool. But I doubt many would not know how to use it.

@sda, according to someone on Reddit, you can reset the "service due" message via the MMI, but would need Ross-Tech or similar OBD software to reset the "inspection due" message. The cool thing about the specialized software is that you can sometimes unlock features that weren't available on USDM vehicles. I've done that on the Maverick, and it was well worth the price of admission.
