One time, I traded in one a Fusion and forgot my sunglasses in the overhead bin.
Didn;t have the keys anymore, so I used the keypad code to open the car and retrieve them.

Congrats to all who made purchases this week. Left my Raybans in the ceiling holder so had to stop by yesterday morning to find them. Luckily the salesman found them and had them for me. Noticed at 6:15 Thursday morning when I woke up and remembered I had forgotten them. Now, left my seat cushion on the front seat & would like it back even though it's a bit old. Texted my sales guy and he said he'd check first thing tomorrow since today is a holiday. Luckily it's still on the lot so it has to be there. Guess he didn't notice it when he drove it back to the dealership from my house. Good thing it's only about 2 miles away! Unlike me to forget stuff as I did clean out a lot of stuff I was carrying around. Will be very careful what I put back inside though!

I considered the Continental, not sure why I didn’t get it. Price, perhaps? I believe the Continental was also lighter and had quick release rims. The Varsity is a tank. It served me well.

Not a classic car but my Schwinn Varsity bought new in February 1974. I was doing some much needed purging of the storage shed and decided to give the bike its annual wipe down. I needs tires. It is kept under a plastic cover. While trying to clean the shed Mrs. SDA started a project and promptly needed my help. Lol




So much for a thorough purging of the shed. And, yes the photo background is not impressive.

While it being removable is somewhat useful if you are camping, at the beach, etc, some seem to think that it will be a target for theft and even smashing of side windows to get at it by those so inclined. Some are even advocating taking it with you when you park in public spots, which I think is absurd, but whatever. It sounds like that dealership was at least concerned about it if they had them removed and stored inside.

I didn’t know that it had this feature. It is what it is and that’s why I have insurance.

It sounds really good so there is an upside.

When I retired, lost my co. phone (but was allowed to keep the #). So, after initially porting to Verizon (had to), I then switched to Visible (Verizon-owned 5g UW network) for $30/month all in. So far, seems fine.

Xfinity cable/internet/landline (unused) here, recently jumped to ~$230/mo, while losing channels. Plus wife has Netflix and Prime. Not money well spent probably.
