Today is the two month anniversary for the Lexus. We still have over half of the original tank of gas over about 1100 miles. On pace for about three to four tanks per year, I guess.

Its sad, Infiniti and nissan already have discounted offers for leasing. Iirc, Infiniti qx80 luxe trim, msrp 84k, 10k for 36months - 899/mnth with 8500 down. The armada is similar, pro4x, msrp is around the same.
Ford generally updates quarterly, so July 1st would be correct

Re: I spotted an (insert obscure car name here) classic car today!
But, these days a lot of OHC engines have timing chains as well. My 2000 Intrepid, with the 2.7 V6 had a chain. I used to think it had two chains, one for each camshaft, but I just looked up a schematic and nope, just one long chain that goes from the crankshaft to both camshafts, as well as the water pump.

That thing looks like it would be nothing but trouble to me, although I had my car for 150,000 miles with no issues. I've heard in later years though that they WERE troublesome. Apparently, the guides would wear, and would allow the chain to stretch out.

I promise not to make every one of my Camry posts about gas mileage. I filled it up this afternoon with approximately 50 miles to empty. It took less than 10 gallons of gas. I hand calculated 43.51 mpg.
