Get a doorbell camera installed that dings automatically when someone approaches the door and shows you who’s there on your phone. Mine has let me avoid having to deal with countless annoyances arriving there unsolicited to try to bother me.

I like the doorbell/camera idea. Not practical for me because my cell phone stays in my car....I have no need to carry around a phone and don't want to carry a phone with me.

@imidazol97 I like the idea of a no soliciting list. Unfortunately we don't have that plan, I wish we did.

I have answered the door and the guy is selling weed killer, I didn't understand the one who was going to remove the mosquitoes from my property, how do they know where my property starts, the guy selling his oil paintings, another one complaining that I wouldn't buy a $6 chocolate bar......he said he calls on people living in nice homes and they won't buy a chocolate bar from him - I told him the guy selling him the choc/bars is making all the money, he's got an impossible job.
