Sad to say the styling is a little like the Aztek-lots of angles, pieces, shapes.
Id there's one thing you can say about the UAZ, it's that there isn't even the pretense of styling, unlike the [non-permissible content removed]-Tek which was ALL pretense. :P
Way back when, you could just get a Lincoln Coupe.. the "Town" thing was an upgraded trim package..
My mother had a '72 coupe that I learned to drive on, and she and my stepfather both had '76 coupes (not Town) in red and blue..
I knew that was post-'76, because the grill on the '76 and earlier models stopped short of the top of the hood.. there was body colored sheet metal on the front of the car over the grill...
Yes, Ford Escort fromt he 70s. Here's what strikes me about this picture:
(i) This is likely a Ford Co. picture, note "K" license plate.. that's for Koeln (Cologne), where Ford Germany has its headquarters.
(ii) Check out the dude's hairdo!
(iii) My grandma had one of those, with a 4sp stick and the wickedest clutch you ever drove. It also had leaf springs and a solid axle in the rear... rwd, of course. Very unlovely car.
(iv) One of these made the news recently; Pope John Paul II had one when he was younger and it got auctioned off. Heck of a popemobile, eh?
I think that would work. Although I think that car is derided by some, I think that Manhattan convertible is very elegant in a ca.1950 way - like the very early hardtops that GM especially was unveiling around that same year.
Yep it's a Saab 95 (that's Ninety Five not Nine Five) which had an amazingly long production life having been sold '59 thru '78. It was the only Saab wagon until the 9-5 wagon was introduced in the late '90s.
Well of course it's an A-H but it's not the well-know Austin-Healey 3000 but it's predecessor the Healey 100-6 (MY '59). AFAIK there's no cosmetic difference between a Healey 100-6 and a 3000 MkI.
A Jaguar, from the mid-50s. How about an XK-120 DHC?
Not bad for an amateur , the beautiful green car is an XK-120 FHC. FHC=Fixed Head Coupe.
A DHC would be a Drop Head Coupe, what we think of as Convertibles while roadsters had only temporary tops with clear side curtains instead of windows .

By the high grill, it has to be '77 or later...

The woody is a ca. 53 Mercury, I am unsure of the model name - maybe some kind of "squire"
The chrome surrounds on the tailights indicate that the Merc is a '52 model, otherwise very similar to a '53.
The model name is "Custom". The Squire name (as in Country Squire was used for Ford models.
