    :) Got it, thanks, Michaell. I was asking in case there was a consistent cadence for lease offers for Land Rover. Like, some car companies have a "winter event" where rates decrease, etc.

    We show 67% for 33/15; add 3% for 10K miles per year.

    Dealer cannot modify the residual; it's set by the bank.

    Thank you. I wish there was a published source I could show the dealer. Two dealers have sworn the 70% is only for the HSE (not LUX) LR4. I appreciate the help, great forum.

    We show 67% for 33/10 on the LR4 LUX model and 70% for the HSE.

    Have I been confused this whole time?

    Possibly. I was looking for LUX line. If you are showing 67%, that squares with what the dealer is stating. So, for now, for LUX, it looks like 67% is the number. Thanks for clearing it up :)

    Did MF change or just lease length and Residual?

    Thank you. Boy, it makes it hard to know whether the program got better or worse. Last month was the same MF, but 70% for HSE and 67% for LUX--but that was a 33 month term (new program is 39)--for 10k/year.
    Can someone help me make sense of this in terms of:
    a)is it a wash, just longer term or
    b)the older program was stronger or
    c)new program is better

    I'm learning a lot here, and appreciate opinion. Thanks folks for the help!

    The best way would be to run the numbers with an MSRP and selling price of a specific unit.

    I'm in the same boat as you.  I've been looking at the special on Landrover's website and it seems like the best deal. But it's not as good as last months deal. ☹
    When I calculate using 65% and .00249 the payment is higher than the Land Rover site.

    THANKS! The "advertised" deal on the manufacturer site is much better than this pricing. But no dealers want to offer it. It is on an HSE with vision, climate, meridian, rear entertainment with 63,975 MSRP.

    Today, a dealer mentioned $1,000 lease cash on a 2016 LR4 and a 0.00149 MF on that same vehicle. Is this a formal Land Rover program for December or does it likely only apply to this one particular dealer/car. This is a 2016 HSE LR4.

    We keep hearing of money factors much lower than what we show. It's possible (maybe likely) that there is a special program that we don't know about.

    It doesn't seem likely that a particular dealer would have a different program.

    I've been quoted 4 different money factors from 4 different dealers on an LR4 HSE:
    0.00249
    0.00191
    0.00165
    0.00149

    Is it likely that certain LR4 HSE units have different money factors than other HSE units in inventory?

    Based on what I've heard from 2 dealers and read online, I'm starting to believe that the base MF is 0.00149 and that dealers typically mark up to 0.00249. Is it always messy to get dealers to come down to the non-marked up MF? Getting the non-marked-up MF seems to be simple at other luxury dealers - BMW, Lexus, etc

    LR Finance has some really strong residuals, lately, which makes for a very reasonable lease payment, relative to the MSRP.

    36/12 - 64% and .00255
    39/12 - 63% and .00255
    Add 1% for 10K
    MRM for 2016 LR4 HSE is $77,975. MRM is constant for the model and trim level.

    Can't reverse engineer the money factor, unless you at least know the selling price of the vehicle, which that ad doesn't disclose. Can't solve for two variables, only one.

    We show a base MF of .00255 for that model, but we've had plenty of Land Rover shoppers in these forums report that they've been offered .00155, so there may be a program that we don't know about.

Let me give it you: MSRP (incl of destination and delivery) $63,975, Residual: $40,944. $3495 due at signing - $2021 down, $0 security, $795 acquisition fee and $679 first month fee.     Yes.. but, we don't know the dealer discount from MSRP or the adjusted CAP cost.

    I will say that most of our members are reporting money factors that are .00100 less than what we see. (.00170, in this case).

    Hello. Would it possible to give me some feedback on the proposed lease scenario on a 2016 LR4 lease - landmark edition 

    65,824 gross cap cost 
    41,895 adjusted residual

    3994 down (2316 cap cost reduction)

    849/month all in

    62% residual for 12k

    Is it realistic or possible to get no cap cost reduction and 800 month all in?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Depends. What are you trying to accomplish? "I know you are liars, and here is the proof!" doesn't seem like much of a way to get a deal done.

    That said, ask them for the CAP cost, because I come up with a higher payment, using $3000 of the upfront money for CAP cost reduction.

    With that MSRP and CAP cost of $54,449, .00352 MF and 67% residual... payment is $770/mo.+tax.

    So, while paying MSRP wouldn't make me happy, they are giving you a lower payment than the numbers would indicate.
