Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. $2,500 off MSRP. Just out of curiousity - what options does it have on it to get it from $58k up to the 61.5k? I haven't seen anyone post July MF/residual yet, so assuming that the numbers you just provided here are the new ones straight from JLR financial, then I'd say you're in good shape!

When was this quoted to you? Whats your tax rate % used in this calc? My spreadsheet calculated a monthly payment of $722.53 at 7% sales tax using your numbers...

I'd be interested in seeing the cost breakdown of the $1,788.48 OTD

I am in PA, which has a 6% sales tax. Selling price is ~$59K and includes cold weather package and metallic paint - probably a couple other dealer add-ons. I believe the quote used June numbers.

    .00270 and 64% / 63%.

Possible that a promotional .00170 MF exists.

I don't see a negotiated price in that ad, and they never mention the adjusted CAP cost.
Those assumptions are yours, and not a given.

The advertised deal actually assumes a $1068 dealer discount from MSRP.

Re-do your calculations, and you should come up with .00169, which is the actual money factor used in that advertised deal.

Anything yet? Based on some dealer lease promotions I'm seeing online, possible that best numbers for this month could be on 33mo or 39mo?

    Would be interested in 7.5k & 10k for 33, 36, 39mo on LR4 HSE Silver

    .00270 MF and 64%/61%/57% residual for 10K/yr. Add 1% for 7.5K/yr.

Not seeing any special lease programs for the LR4, this month.

    Hello All:

We are interested in leasing a 2016 LR 4 and received the following offer from the dealership, which seems terrible compared to some of the others we've seen here.

Wanted to get opinions on what we could come back with.

    Sell price: $62,004
    36 month lease/ 10k miles
    $1,500 down

    61% and .00270.

Texas applies sales tax against the entire selling price. Find out the adjusted cap cost the dealer is using, and what else is being added to it in addition to the sales tax.

Michaell, thank you. After some negotiating, they came back with this: (attached). Is there any way you see $750-850 monthly payments possible with $1,500 - $3,000 down given this worksheet?

    Thank you!

Adding in $2800 of negative equity from your trade, and the dealer adds $1820 of useless crap.

You could buy this vehicle for just about $200/mo. more than these lease quotes. The money factor is equivalent to 6.5% APR.

Absolutely no way to get to the monthly numbers you want.

    .00270 MF and 57%/56% residual for Silver/HSE

Doesn't look like any lease support for the 2016 LR4.

Thanks - any reason why they lost so much residual value? Thought they were better round 61%

At some point, all models from the previous model year lose support. No idea why this model, at this time, though.

Hi, can you post current MF/residual for LR4 (the basic LR4--not HSE Silver and not Landmark) 10K miles for 36 or 39 month or whatever is best term? Thank you.

So my local dealer is quoting me MSRP of 69,400 on a loaded Silver edition with rear seat entertainment, he tells me there is No discount on the vehicle. Production has stopped on the LR4 so this is a hot car (bs?). So residuals are falling but they won't discount the vehicle. Does this seem right?

Sounds to me like they're completely confident that they're going to be able to move their remaining inventory - or he's bsing you and wants you to think that's the case. Either way, id be surprised if you were able to get more than $1000 off msrp at this point. The LR4s are indeed out of production and will likely go the way of the FJ Cruiser with respect to demand and resale value (meaning it'll stay high now that you can't buy them anymore)

Well, the luxury suv segment is crowded. They are welcome to sit on their inventory, sounds like their are deals to be had on the GLS or maybe the X5. They seemed to be put off by the idea of leasing the car, maybe they don't want it back.

You definitely don't want to lease this vehicle. ZERO support.

HELP!!! I'm new to all this. Is there a place I can go to learn about residual factor and money factor and what they mean. I have a deal on the table I need help with. From the looks of the previous posts you'll need some numbers...what are the best numbers to get the best info back?

And this is for a 16.5MY LR4 Silver Edition (BLK PACK)...Do I lease or buy?

I see there's no lease support...what does that mean?

"no lease support" means that Land Rover isn't putting any incentives on leases of this model.

If you want it, you should buy, rather than lease.

Awesome...thank you. What's a fair price if they are willing to CPO it?

Why is LR ending the LR4? I thought it was very popular??? Is there a new car coming out to replace it?

It's pretty old. I believe that there is a new model, the Discovery, that will replace it in the LR lineup.
