I bought my Sienna SAturday (6 hour drive to Fitz Auto Mall in Gaithersburg, Maryland) saved me plenty of $$ from the local dealers here in WV. LE Package #3 they gave me $1k more than my trade was worth according to KBB $24k plus TTL before trade in allowance. My wife is extremely happy!
1. Should we take advatnage of the current incentive and buy by January 31st or does Toyoto offer incentives every month?
2. We got an offer of 22,788 (package #1), before haggling. We live in the LA area -- is that decent?
Thanks!
the van my wife and I bought was manufactured in 10/05....it was $105 cheaper than one that was mfg in 12/05.....and it was an 06 LE Package 3. Take advantage of the current incentives, or else you may wait a while before another cash back offer comes in. Then again, I don't know if it will increase....
And for your pricing, that isn't bad because I know the LE Package #3 that I bought adds $1500 to the price.... check the price at http://www.fitzmall just as a comparison point to see what a Package #1 is going for, that will give you good indication of what neighborhood you should be paying for.
hope it helps! :P
Would you mind telling me which MA dealers you were talking about that are willing to sell for about $500 over invoice before discounts?
We live in MA and have recently started looking for a new van. We test drove the Sienna XLE LTD this weekend and loved it!
Just thought it would be nice to get a heads up as to which dealers are willing to give the best price.
Thanks!
Good luck with your new van!

the total price including 7/100 platinum warranty and 4/60 service contract was $30,612. I think that using the internet and your area newspaper ads are good ways of making the dealer come down to your level in pricing.
$1,000 under MSRP is horrible. While its better than paying for full MSRP, there are much better prices for the 06 Sienna's. I got mine $4k under MSRP, have heard of other dealers in Virginia offering up to $4500 under MSRP (Leesburg Toyota in Leesburg, VA).
I'm sure TX has a lot more Toyota dealerships than I do here in WV hehe just go to Toyota's website and email 8-10 dealerships...that's what I did. Have them compete for your business, eventually I hope someone will have the LE #3 you're looking for. If not (and this is just me) I'd fly to Virginia to save an extra $3,000 and drive it back or arrange for it to be transported.
Then again I'm not you....nor am I in TX...maybe someone in TX is better able to help you hehe good luck! :shades:
The dealer was Boch Toyota, although I did not buy there. The MSRP on the 06 Limited with HO package was about $42.4K and the price was around $38.5K to $39K. Then you need to add $200 for documentation, etc. I also had the package that has the door sills and car mats for $245 included in my price.

The quoted internet special was $23,760. The invoice was 25,310. At some point, I got the $750 toyota rebate. I'm not quite sure where, but it might have been already deducted for the internet price.
I paid $784 taxes
$56.50 tags and license
$225 processing fee
This =$24825.50 and I said I didn't think I should pay that much and he gave me $163 off. I still think I got a good OTD price at $24,662. There wasn't a $400 graduate deduction.
Was that LE #3 with 8 seates or 7 seats. I am new to the Sienna buying experience and the Invoice price from edmunds for a LE#3(8seats) is 25023. Also what is OTD. Is that price with options + destinatin + doc fees.
PS: THis was an 8 seater from Koons Toyota in Annapolis.
Does anyone know what the current money factor and residual is on a 2006 Sienna LE 36 month 15,000 mile lease? I'd like to calculate my lease payment before I go in to the dealership.
Thanks.
I am in South Florida and would like to hear from anyone that has bought down here recently.

Overstocked dealers just give you quotes like everyone else...until the Sienna changes significantly (rumors have it they'll put a 3.5L V6 next year) 06 Sienna's will sell just fine.
And I didn't have Fitzmall deliver it out of state, checked with a shipper it would be in the $450-$700 range (for me in WV...one state over) ...for that you could almost fly and just drive it down. I'm hoping someone on this board bought one in SoFL so they can point you in the right direction and save lots of $$ for you..
Heck if you think about it, even if a dealer in SoFL has it for $500 more...its cheaper that way than going to Maryland (or any other dealer with that distance) to get one...save you time...good luck! Some dealers down there may pricematch fitzmall.com or some other places! have you checked autotrader?
I feel lucky that we found one with VSC (Stability Control). According to the Toyota brochure, and Edmunds.com, you can't get AWD and VSC in the same car. But ours has both. (At least according to the window sticker.)
My dad bought a Camry recently and had the same experience--the actual cars on the lot have extra options that aren't on the list.
We bought from Boch Toyota in N. Attleboro, MA. They were very easy to deal with & I'd recommend them. I sent email spam to all the dealers in the eastern half of Massachusetts. This dealership had the lowest price, and also was able to switch to another car with VSC when I asked for it, without increasing the quote, or changing colors. The other Boch, in Norwood, had the second lowest quote.
Now I just need to sell my namesake car (92camrywagon).
Their price for the car, when taking into account Dealer Fees ($500 here in FL, $99 in DC), lack of Dealer Add ons at Fitzmall, lower invoice price in DC, and better selling price ($350 under invoice), the car was $3200 cheaper at Fitzmall.
So, I purchased there and drove down. Working with Fitzmall was very easy - they had the car ready to go at the agreed upon time. Took 1 hour to get in and out.
I don't know how far you're willing to go up, get pre-approved now as interest rates with pre-approvals are good for 30 days...I actually work in the auto industry and I know a lot of the banks and lenders (here in WV) raised their interest rates anywhere from 0.25% to 1.5% on prime rates.
Get a pre-approval from eloans.com or lendingtree.com or something...
Good luck! :shades:
All the dealers do is forward their taxes to the state DMV or MVA....
For my particular vehicle, I did not put a deposit because there were 6 of the package and color that I was looking for. They do try to have you put a $500 refundable deposit down though....via credit card or what not. Depends on what you're looking for..

Any Floridians out there experience this or know what he is talking about ? I googled for it and only came up with the impact fee for rentals.
Then again it could be aftermarket......but 04's are selling for $21,900....
Be cautious...
Another red herring: Cassette. The 2006 Sienna LE does NOT have a cassette deck but comes with in dash 6 CD changer and MP3 capability.
I figure I can give my experience to help other looking for a good deal in MA area. I sent emails to most of the larger toyota dealers in MA area. I recieved some really good pricing. Acton toyota will do any sienna instock for 200 under invoice plus current $1000 rebate, Ira will respond ith a higher number and will not budge until you let them know you have found other lower prices. They ended up being fair and coming at 300 under invoice plus rebate. You need to speak to manager to get final price. I didn't like my experience with herb chambers they wouldn't even come under invoice. I didn't bother speaking with GM. Boch Norwood gave me a great price of 500 under invoice plus rebate. I would have probably taken that price but, in the end Boch toyota Soth came in at almost 1200 under invoice plus rebate.(not a misprint) They are not very responsive with email they just give you your quote and then you need to call. I called because i didn't believe the numbers. I was sure it was some sort of bait and switch, but when I got there they had my car and discussed price printed out. I had to work for my trade in, because I had high mileage and a chrysler van and a dent, but I still came close to kellybb. The car price was good because they even told me I would be better selling myself and I would still get the price. Good experience it would even better if your trade was better than mine with lower miles and beter condition. I ended up buying a Sienna front wheel drive XLE with package #5 and the standard rug option. The price was 27,373 plus 299 doc fee. I hope this helps someone. I just wanted to give a little something back for all your help.
I have just bought an 2006 XLE AWD in Bakersfield, California. Excellent buying experience.
I have gotten a $750 rebate, but no other $650 rebate.
What is the President's day rebate? Is it only available
in your region?
For others shopping in Southern California:
I just have bought a 2006 XLE AWD with Package 9 (leather, heated seats), door mats, seal protection.
MSRP : 35,519
Invoice: 31,800
I paid: 32050 - 750 rebate = 31300 + tax, license, etc
($300 over the invoice before rebate, $450 under invoice
after rebate).
In case you are shopping for 2005 XLE AWD, there are at least 5 still available. I was offered as low as
$30,000 after $1500 rebate for 2005 XLE AWD Package 9
(MSRP 36400, invoice 32300).
Also, I'm trying to get an XLE AWD with a DVD player. I understand from Best Buy that it's better to just get it from the dealer that try to do it after market. Any thoughts on that?

1. XLE (AWD) with package #8 or 12, dual port towing or
2. XLE Limited, AWD, package #2, dual port towing
For the XLE we have been quoted 35,400 ( which includes freight $605, towing package $415, processing fee $299) does not include tax, tags or registration.
For the XLE limited we were quoted, 37,300 ( which includes freight $605, towing package $415, processing fee $299) does not include tax, tags or registration.
Is this a good deal? Has anyone gotten a better deal? Does everyone pay freight and what is reasonable for a processing fee? We are willing to travel to MD, PA, NC.
Just compare the quotes you've gotten with Fitzgerald and Darcars (seems like there's another one but the name escapes me).
Adding power doors (I assume you mean side doors and/or rear liftgate) is not a feasible option due to the cost of the parts.
Have you thought about buying a used '04 or '05? If so, take a look over in Real World Used Car Values where someone is looking to sell an '04 Limited with 41K.
