Not true if you're in Florida.
I call power cerritos, they said the $23.9k is only a loss lead price and wouldnt match it on the other minivans.
Thanks
First, the Toyota backed Extended Warranty (Platinum) is popular. The various packages and MSRP are listed on www.toyotafinancial.com.
Second, except for FL and perhaps other southern states, many other states honor the same Platinum warranty which nearly all Toyota dealerships should honor. Apparently in some southern states the coverage and contract varies. For example the Toyota Platinum warranty for non-Southern states is not refundable whereas some contracts which are underwritten with other policies or protections could be if you do not issue a claim against the policy while it is active.
Third, price for the Platinum warranty's vary GREATLY. For example, the popular 7 years / 100K miles, $0 dedutible plan has an MSRP of $1450! I've read here that people are offered this for $3K----but to pay under a thousand dollars is not unreasonable.
Fourth, one business manager at a local dealer quoted me a price which I caluclated was 25% off MSRP. The next day a different business manager at the same dealership quoted me 15-20% off MSRP for the same thing! When I challenged him on it, he simply stated the other business manager was giving me a great price. Yeah, right. He also told me I had about a week after my new purchase to decide. From everything I know this is not true. I beleive you can purchase the extended warranty during the first 3 years or 36K miles but it is not retroactive, it is only from the date of purchase forward.
Fifth, some dealers have made a good repuation selling the Toyota Platinum warranty's via the Internet for a modest profit. For example, Greenfield Toyota in Massachusetts has been doing this for a few years and they sell a lot of them. My quoted price for the 7/100/$0 is $880 which is only 61% of MSRP! You probably should confirm with your local dealer that they 'participate' and will honor the Platinum warranty purchased from another dealer or out-of-state.
I hope this helps some of the people who are now wondering the same things I was only a couple of weeks ago!!!

For a new Toyota Sienna purchase (<1000 miles?) you have the option to purchase a prepaid premium maintenance package which basically can cover oil changes, tire rotations, and
As the proud new owner of a 2006 Sienna XLE Limited AWD with Navigation and DVD, and those 'questionable' Dunlop run flat tires I figured I'd do some digging.
First, you need to be aware that the OEM Dunlop run flat tires are not cheap, about $200 or more from tirerack.com and the customer reviews clearly show that without proper maintenance and rotations these tires may only last ... 12-20K miles! I hope to do better than that with proper maintenance.
Second, according to toyotafinancial.com you will pay $990 MSRP for the 4 years, 55K miles Premium package (oil changes and tire rotations at 5K miles, plus the 3 service packages at 15K, 30K, and 45K miles). They offer many other packages but this is the one I wanted.
Third, I shopped around and found out that I can purchase this Toyota backed prepaid maintenance plan for $670 at an in-state dealer. You need to confirm that your local Toyota dealership "participates" and will honor this Toyota prepaid maintenance plan when purchased elsewhere---apparently not all honor it.
Fourth, I then called two major Toyota dealerships north of Boston, MA to compare prices for oil changes, tire rotations, and the 3 service packages. The results were very interesting. Atlantic Toyota (Lynn,MA) would charge $1226 w/tax but not including the occasional discount or coupon they offer. Ira Toyota (Danvera, MA) would charge $1452 for the same. I figure the dealerships make a nice markup on service and maintenance, and they probably include services in their 15/30/45K service packages which make it more costly but not necessarily in the Toyota recommended scheduled maintenance plan. For example, why replace a part or do service that is not factory recommended? It's wasteful, no?
There you have it, within an hour I was able to find out that the prepaid maintenance for $670 would be a much better deal than the $1200-1450 the local dealerships would charge me and I don't even need a coupon

Private party looking to sell sienna 2005 LE, bought in Jan 2005, has 12K miles, package #1. ALl sales records are accountable to them being the original owners car purchased in PA.
Aesthetically the car has not been taken well care of for example inside seats have fabric marks on from car seats, carpet is slightly dirty, scuffs on interior plastic of car near all doors and in the rear trunk areas.
Car has excessive scratches on the exterior, looks as if someone took a key or two and went around the WHOLE car front to back and side to side. TO picture there is almost one solid line of deep scratch all the way around. Also, all four corners of the car bumpers are scuffed, not terribly but some paint is removed on 2 corners. Otherwise mechanically appeared in great shape. NO apparent body work done, and everything else on exterior looks fine.
The reason for the marks was told has 4 boys and their bikes did all the damage in and out, certainly could be bike scratches. Price is good, and we could possibly live with the scratches but if we were ever to resell, I think the value would be hurt, hence what we pay for the car issue. So my question is, is this a good enough deal for this minivan given the info above?
thanks so much for your help!
You are describing minor damage that would cost major dollars because a majority of the vehicle needs to be refinished. It's not likely you'll be happy driving it in its present condition.
2006 LE 7 + pkg#1 (AM), "Delivered Internet Price: $23,170"
Good luck.
I spotted the model above in the color we wanted (Silver) online at Ourisman Toyota (Northern Va). MSRP was $42,237; internet price was 36,937 (after $500 rebate) plus Taxes, Tags, and Processing fee of $278. After two rounds of calls to 3 other dealers in the area, The best I could get over the phone was $37,016 including processing fee (also included mats, wheel locks, and door sill protectors) from Miller Toyota. So I went to Ourisman in-person, drove it, and flatly told them about the Miller deal. Ourisman sales manager immediately matched it, threw in the accessories to make the deals identical, and added the cargo net as a kicker. Final purchase price was $36,737 plus $278 processing, taxes, and tags.
I sat down with the finance guy fully expecting to give back the $500 rebate for the 3.9% promotional rate over 60 months. With $15K down, the payment was $447. But then I asked if leasing was still an option at this point and he ran the numbers ON THE SAME PURCHASE PRICE. I required 36 mos and 15K miles per year. It took only a little work to get the 0.00091 money factor, zero security deposit, and gap premium reduced to $270. Couldn't dodge the $400 acquisition fee but was otherwise thrilled with the $549.99 payment and only the first month's payment due at signing. They also gave me 2 years of free maintenance.
Took it back two days later to have the accessories installed and Ourisman (Fairfax) had a free loaner waiting for me. Just top-notch all the way around. I wasn't really planning to lease, but given the option at the sub-invoice price, it seemed like a no-brainer. However, I hadn't prepared as much for the lease negotiation, so I welcome feedback from others on this deal. Hope the info is helpful to others in the market.

The best deal so far has been:
31931 --> 2006 Sienna Ltd 2WD base invoice price.
565 --> Destination charge.
2978 --> HO package (DVD + NAV). invoice price.
596 --> Conv pkg (running boards, spoiler). invoice prc.
200 --> CF pkg (floor mats, door sill protector)
500 --> TDA ??
600 --> Dealer markup
-500 --> Toyota year end rebate
This adds up to 36870 + TTL for an out of door price of $39,600. Is this a good deal? By the way I live in NJ.
Also
1) What does TDA mean and should I be paying for it?
2) Is the CF package really an option. I was told by the salesman that Sienna Ltd comes from factory without floor mats so I have to pay an extra 200 bucks for the CF pkg. I find it hard to believe that a 40K vehicle can come w/o floor mats.
I would appreciate any feedback. Also any of you who have bought a similar vehicle recently pls post your quotes.
Thank you.
Suggest you get quotes from the Washington DC area as they seem to offer the cheapest Sienna prices in the country. Try the websites for Fitzgerald or Darcars.
Just wanted to know everyone's opinion
Thanks
It came with lifetime free state inspection, full tank of gas, car drop off at home.
The good news is that I do not own anymore a Honda vehicle and will never ever again look back at this manufacturer/make as I am really happy that I got rid of my 2005 Odyssey EX-L RES.
Oooh what a luxury and quite driving experience that silver shadow pearl Sienna is... keep up the good work TOYOTA!!!!!
The transaction included a trade in...:
2006 Toyota Sienna Limited ($36941)
2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L RES (trade allowance $23500)
other misc. fees: $465
The dealership was at Mark Jacobson Toyota in Durham, NC.
Happy Holidays
Perplexed
Interestingly enough, they do offer 5k off LTD AWD and it cost less than LTD without AWD (37964$ for AWD LTD (MSRP of 42964), vs 38000$ for LTD FWD (MSRP - 41514).
Thanks.
Question: Is it true that doc or admin fee is hard to negotiate?
The options are carpet mats (269), toyoguard (699) and leather trimmed seats at 1750. I think this costs are inflated based on Edmunds,NADA and Kelly. This will be a cash sale and no trade in. Is this a good price for out the door? I'm reworking the cost. I have several online quotes for this vehicle the difference is fabric and leather; option pkg 6. They are trying to ditch me with 500 for dealer fees and tag transfer.
This is the vehicle I want but would like to know what is a good counteroffer for me to offer.
I'm prepared to fax and email a counter offer before 9 am tomorrow morning but I would like to receive some feedback right away.
Dealer doc fees are just a gimmick that should be labeled "Additional Dealer Profit" which would lower the actual discount to about $ 1751 altho tag transfer may be legitimate expense depending on your city and state.
My son was driving and has some serious neck, shoulder and back problems.
So do you think it a good otd price?
Our purchase price for the XLE w/ pack. 7 was $ 30,535, plus $ 100 dealer processing. The price includes the $ 500 rebate available in that region.
Hope this helps and good luck!
What is the good OTD (Out the door) price for Sienna CE 8 seater with Package #1 or without any package? Cars direct price is about 22600 + TAX + TAG + LIC without any package.
How much window tint cost at the dealer vs other?
I would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks and Happy new year.
The Toyota web site shows ONLY the Sienna models and options available for sale in the Zip Code that is entered.
Try the Toyota web site and type in any Denver CO region zip code.
Toyota Prepaid Maintenance
The price does NOT include: $100 Dealer fee + $15 MD Temp Tag + $4 Tire Recycle Fee + GA Sales tax + GA tag + GA title fees. (Approx. total cost: $25550).
Visited Fitzmall first in Gaithersburg MD. They were not able to match the price. Not pleased with there interaction either. The sales person kept trashing DARCARS.
Pleased with the customer service experience @ DARCARS in Frederick. The sales person was responsive, courteous and detailed.
Very few LE package #3 were available in south-east region (only 1 in Silver color). Cherokee County Toyota had the lowest price in Atlanta area, but not low enough.
Your experience is similar to the deal my nephew got on his 2005 Odd EX (cloth) on November 30,2004 when he paid $ 25,000 and some odd dollars for the Odd EX that had MSRP $ 28,510.
A person can obviously save money by being patient and buying from the dealership on the LAST day of the month.
What dealership did you get it at in MD?
