Do you have Nov rates for the 2014 Altima 2.5 SL + Tech , 24 & 36 months, 15K. I have an Altima 2.5 SL lease that is expiring in Dec. Also, can you confirm the total incentive cash back for leases. It is unclear whether total is $1,000 + 500 + 375 to lease thru Nissan (numbers listed on your site ) and then the rest is just the negotiated price of the 2014 Altima.

Hi kyfdx,

Did you mean a score below 600 to fall below Tier 4? I believe a score of 700 puts one on NMAC's tier 1 (at least that was the case a couple of years ago). Am I correct?

The numbers Nissan uses aren't FICO scores... It's a special "Auto Finance Bureau Score", that I think tops out at 950 (vs. 850 for FICO)...

So, not exactly apples to apples...

Hi kyfdx,

I was wondering if I could get some info on my lease. I leased a 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5SV a few months ago. I leased it for 2 years, 15K miles per year. The residual is $17,500. Is this likely high compared to what it will actually be? I'm on pace to only use a fraction of my 30K miles (I will likely end up using only about 15K total) so I was hoping I might have equity. Is that unlikely with such a high residual?

If you keep the miles down, there is a possibility that the value of your car at the end of the 2 years will be higher than the residual value of the contract.

If so, you can buy the car at the end of the lease and use the equity as down payment if you then trade the car in for something new.

Having said that, finance companies are pretty good at estimating residual value. And, you should know that you're paying for miles you aren't driving - perhaps next time you should consider a 10K or 12K miles per year lease.

after a horrible accident brand new car just totaled - need new car ASAP

here are rates/etc dealer gave us today:

this is for tier 8 credit with Nissan
money factor: .00410
$1000 down (including first months payment)

36 month lease
invoice price: $23,977
rebate: $875
monthly payment: $438.86
12k miles
residual:
$15,384.50

24 month lease
invoice price: $23,977
rebate: $875
monthly payment: $509.26
12k miles
residual: $16,976

someone please let me know if this is a decent lease for this credit tier - need a vehicle today - thanks in advance for your help!

That is the correct money factor for Tier 8....

Have you thought about trying to purchase the car, instead? Not sure if it's any better, but I wouldn't lease with that credit tier... ouch.

With top tier credit, what is a good lease price for a 36m / 12,000 Altima SV.
No money down, with the exception of taxes and fees.
Back in October, before November rebates/holiday cash, they offered me $245 a month.
What would the drop be now?

purchase is no better - lease is shorter & less painful

after 12 payments we were told nissan will put anyone leasing with them in tier 1 for next lease purchase. is this true?

Money factor is lower this month, but so are the residuals, so unless there is a lot of holiday cash, lease prices aren't likely to be much different... $245/mo is cheap for any mid-size sedan, and once you get that low, you aren't likely to any significant change from month-to-month...

At those prices, I'd go with the 36 month lease, rather than 24 months..

I don't know what Nissan will do with credit tiers later.... The dealer might, but I wouldn't lease this car, based on hoping to get a better credit report on the next one.... That's too far away to count on, I think... Plus, hopefully by then, your credit will be better on it's own, from fixing whatever problems you've had.. If your actual credit is Tier 8, the next time, I wouldn't count on Nissan giving you Tier 1, just because you are an existing customer...

15k miles/ yr for $230+tax per month 36 months lease..$0 down payment. Is this a good deal?
I'm in Southern California.. monthly total $248.xx with tax.

still didnt lease car - hoping rates/incentives/rebates will be better for December

Nissan dealer told us that after 12 payments they put everyone at tier 1 for next lease - seemed a little fishy to me too - will have to ask Nissan directly before leasing

Still desperately need a car and driving a rental - just don't want to take a bad deal or make the wrong choice

Also there is $1000 nissan cash and $ 1000 NMAC cash back i see in website which the dealer tells is not applicable to lease. Is that true?

The 12K/yr residual is 1% higher than the 15K/yr residual.
I don't have the incentive information.

Hi,

Please post 3.5 and 2.5 SV and SL numbers on 36/12k lease if possible. Also, based on edmunds there are 2k in rebates/cash, can that be combined with VPP? What does VPP add as far as $ off invoice? Please advise

Hi i'm interested in leasing a nissan altima (super basic) i reached out to a dealer who said the MSRP was 20k and the price was 17k, a deal for end of the year. But the monthly payments came out to $329 with $750 down. How were other folks getting such better deals like stevehebe and zerosky? I am in Chicago but willing to travel to the northwest burbs to get a better deal in Lake County for example.

There is no 2013 sedan lease program.

Hi, just got a offer for Altima S for 36/12k @ 194/m (NY tax included) with ~$500 @ signing (first and DMV)

Once I asked for Altima SV with NAV it went up $40 a month.

Can anyone provide me the MF and Residual for the following cars @ 36m/12k:

Altima S

Altima SV

Altima SL

Also, if you have 24/12k numbers for each one please provide as well.

I was looking at a 2014 Honda Accord but couldn't get a deal done so now I am looking at a 2014 Altima 2.5SL. It looks like there are better deals, especially this week/end, for the Altima.

Here are the details:
2014 ALTIMA 2.5 SL
Exterior: STORM BLUE Interior: CHARCOAL LEATHER
MSRP: $29,555.00
Options: Moonroof and Floor Mats
Down Payment: $500.00
36 month lease @ 12K a year = $289 monthly payment/tax in
Residual will be: $16,255.00

Is that a good deal? I live in Pennsylvania.

I actually got the one dealership to go down to $269/month with $500 down. The $500 down includes first payment (35 months) taxes, tags, etc. All I need to give at signing. Good deal?

S = 65%/58%

For me to get to those prices w NY tax, the dealer would have to sell that car @ $24189. Thats almost 3500 under invoice, I belive they have ~ 2500 in dealer incentives at the moment, but to be 3500 under, thats very attractive!

Yes, it is tax in... Tax is 9% in PA. Not sure what other incentives they included but I do not have Nissan Loyalty. Mentioned about a presidents day sale and the quote is good until this weekend.

The other dealership wont go down from $289/month. Still waiting on the other. They are VERY slow with their internet process.
