Do you think $289/month is also a good deal? The 'downside' to the $269/month deal is that the dealership is around 50 minutes away. The $289/month dealership is 20 minutes .

Its a 720 diff. I would say go the distance, but get all paperwork done over email/fax, so that you just come in and sign. You will also know if they are playing games, or not. I did that in past a number of times. Let us know what you end up doing...good luck!

Congrats!

I unfortunately failed to execute today. Went in to lease SV w/Nav & sunroof and could not get it lower than 238(tax included) w/500 at signing (first and dmv). My goal was 200/m on a 36/12, considering I have VPP going for me. Oh well, i guess ill live to fight another day....

Hi All! I'm trying to negotiate a lease of Altima SV 2.5 with Convenience and Technology Packages. I live on Long Island, NY. The best I could get so far was $260 a month for 15k miles per year for 36 months, and 1100 down, which includes dealer fees + DMV fees + 1st month payment. Does that seem like a reasonable deal or should I continue looking?

I will let my co-host respond as well, it looks like you're being quoted a 57% residual, and a $260 payment for a $27K car is pretty good (I've always heard that 1% of MSRP on a lease payment is a good target).

Still don't know if you could do better .. you should be able to negotiate both the selling price and money factor.

Just signed the lease on 2014 Altima 2.5 SV + Convenience + Technology packages. It is a 36mo lease with 15k miles per year. Paid $1073 out of pocket (that includes DMV fees, 1st month payment, bank fees), and $255 per month for the remaining 35 months. The residual value was 56%, and MF was 0.00021 (Tier 1). They used $1675 rebates. Thank you for helping me to get there!

Is 240 a good price for 36/12K lease on a 2.5S with a MSRP of $24K? They want the first month payment down. Payment include NY taxes and have a nissan lease to give back. Thanks.

Hi @dwhite757, where in NY are you? I was just shopping for Nissan Altima on Long Island, and I feel like you can do better than that. I was quoted $199 on 2.5S for 15000 miles per year for 36 months, and that was only 1st month and DMV fees down, all taxes rolled in. For the lease you are looking for, I would not go more than $220 per month, with everything rolled in.

$199 (36mo/15k) was before the President's day incentives. It might have not included bank fees, that's why I would say that $220 would be a fair lease (at least in Long Island, NY) with everything rolled in.

The actual lease I got included President's Day incentives and allowed me to go for 2.5 SV with Convenience and Tech packages for $255.

Just sealed a deal last night at a Nissan dealership in Southern California:

2014 2.5 SV with Convenience Package - MSRP was about $28,000

12k/36 month lease

0 down and $291/month

Plus, the dealership waived my disposition fee off my Infiniti Lease and took full responsibility of the 2 worn tires and a bumper scratch from hitting the curb. I did not have to pay for anything on the Infiniti.

$315 month, $587.50 out of pocket which includes first payment and DMV fees.

Sounds like a real good deal to me. For the same type of lease in NJ, I was offered $260/mo for a 2.5 SV with Tech, kick plates, splash guards, spoiler, mats. MSRP around $26,065. How much are your DMV and doc fees?

QUESTION: the $1000 Altima bonus cash ended on 3/10 (in NJ)... does anyone know of it being extended or coming back later in month? I can't find out anything, and I run a few local Nissan dealership websites. No word yet...

Due at signing would be 1st payment, tax, title, doc fee. (Around $1000?) I rolled the acquisition fee in, but you could roll the taxes in, as well (about $500). Adding that $500 into the CAP cost raises the payment to about $192/mo.

There is definitely $725 of lease cash. There is also $1000 of customer cash, but I'm not sure if that is compatible with the lease cash. Also, $500 of lease loyalty cash, if you are coming off of a current Nissan lease.
