Thank you very much for the advise. I will ask them about that. How would what chane my monthly payment if 741 is all inclusive? What could I expect with that lower money factor? Thanks again.

Make sure "in writing" means signed by the sales manager. Sign and drive can mean a lot of things....if you have any questions, ask the dealer (and get it in writing).

My wife is looking at 2014 350 e class lease, but the price seems kinda high to me. The car is out of state and apparently will cost around $900 for delivery. She has specific requests for the car, this one matches the closest, but I kind of feel like it's way over priced. We're not in any rush and this model is honestly not exactly what we wanted, was thinking about a custom order on a 2015 with all of the toys. Is the $61,300 the sticker price or the negotiated selling price? We would need both in order to model the payment.
Base MF is .00136 for RWD sedan, .00130 for 4Matic. Residual is 67% for both (27/12).
I would agree that $800/mo is pretty steep - if I use $61,300 as both the MSRP and selling price with the .00136 MF and 67% residual, I get a pre-tax payment of $701.14. You should be able to get quite a bit off the MSRP, so the payment would be much lower.

Yeah it appears that's the MSRP. We wanted to do a one time pay of the lease if it saved us a lot of money. I didn't really want to create a big stink with the guy, he told me that's all kind of deals and the best they could do. But I thought that seemed pretty high, again having not leased, and the car is a couple states away I'm not sure. I think I found the car http://www.plazamercedesbenz.com/new/Mercedes-Benz/2014-Mercedes-Benz-E-Class-9771d3ce0a0a0064693ade51137b4770.htm
When Mercedes is subventing the money factor (like they are on the E350 sedan), then OnePay and MSDs won't really help you save any money. You are better off just keeping your money and doing a traditional lease.
Some Mercedes dealers will try to mark up every number.. The lease program on the E350 is pretty decent if you find a dealer who doesn't have a boat payment to make.
We are looking to lease a 2014 E350S4 (wagon) - went to a CT dealer - He put together two quotes (milage difference) (car has to be built and numbers will change to what is in effect at time of delivery) Here are his numbers -
MSRP $68,350 + $925.(D&D) = $69,275.
Selling Price $64,329 (based on Edmunds this is slightly below actual invoice price)
36 months/19,995 miles per year
4 prepaid maintenance intervals
Residual 59% - $41,862.
Money factor 5.3% (dealer quote - "money factor is standard rate with auto pay")
Doc fee $499.
Dealer quote - "Sales tax paid on full value of car not residual"
Quote includes autopay & USAA fleet discount
$1,057./month
$2,883 due at signing
--- Quote 36 months at 15,000 miles per year
$975./month
$2,883. due at signing
Quote - "For every additional $1,000. down lowers monthly payment by $27./month"
Overmilage charge is .25/mile
Do these numbers seem accurate especially when sales price is slightly below dealer invoice - Am I missing something?
Is this a good deal - would like to get monthly payment down to $800./month
I'm not sure how they calculate a lease with over 15K mi/yr, but the 59% residual is accurate for 36mo, 15K/yr. 5.3% would be equivalent to .0022, which is within the range of the standard money factor (which applies to this model).
You say you went to a CT dealer. Are you in Massachusetts? If so, I think the dealer is correct about the sales tax situation. His quote about the effect of $1000 down is pretty accurate, as well.
Low volume Mercedes models almost never have an aggressive lease program, so they aren't cheap to lease. The standard money factor is high, though the residual is pretty good for this model. Given the tax situation, you might not be able to do a lot better. (but, I'd shop around)
It appears to me that you are not being given the correct USAA member selling price, which should be about $7500 off MSRP for that price car.
Log in to the USAA web site and use the car buying service configurator to get the USAA member price and apply for your certificate which you will need to bring to the dealer.
Since they are using the standard MF, take the maximum multiple security deposits which will reduce the money factor by .0005 and reduce your monthly payments by about $50 or so. I don't have my computer so I ant calc the exact numbers. This is not money down up front, it's essentially a koan to mb for the term of the lease and you get the loan back at the end of the lease.

36/10 on the E350 convertible is .00118 MF and 59% residual.

The dealer is not allowed to modify the residual - those are set by MB Finance. They could, I suppose, be using a different lending institution that uses different numbers. If so, I don't have any way to validate them.
For those of you getting deals....is there a cash incentive on the E350 sedan incorporated into your deal? If so how much? I'm helping someone look who has fleet...if we could get 12-13 percent and then use fleet that would be outstanding.
But I'm not sure if these excellent deals have an incentive already rolled in, in which case we'd have to remove the incentive, and then use fleet.

It's hard to comment, because the numbers don't match what we have... which is .00118 and 59% residual. Using our numbers and your MSRP and selling price, I get $707/mo. plus tax..

It's not a good idea to put a down payment on a lease .. if the vehicle is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.
I'm not sure how folks are getting such large discounts from sticker on MB, but $4500 seems quite low. Have you contacted another MB dealer?

I'm pretty sensitive to the payment which is why I always put cash down. Just easier for me mentally. I'm going to contact a few more. How would the lease look with 6k down? I'm going to assume I can get 8k off

Don't make a down payment...put that money in a bank account and then just make your monthly payments into that account (instead of sending them to MB) and set up the lease with autopay to take the monthly payments directly from that account.
Your head will now be OK because you are only paying the lower amount each month (into the bank account), you won't have the exposure if the car is lost or stolen, AND you will have reduced the cost of your lease because the money factor for autopay drops the mf by .0001 . That $6000 will make up the difference between what you pay each month and what MB takes out of the bank account.
A little confusing...but a much better and safer way to use that down payment money.
My current lease for a 2012 E350 matures in 6 months. My dealer sent a letter offering $3,500 as a Summer Event Bonus and $1,750 as a Preferred Customer Bonus. Can these be added to my USAA discount?
Many thanks.

Also dealer is offering about 4500, many people seem to be getting 10k off. Any SoCal folks want to share their salespersons name and dealer?

Your head will now be OK because you are only paying the lower amount each month (into the bank account), you won't have the exposure if the car is lost or stolen, AND you will have reduced the cost of your lease because the money factor for autopay drops the mf by .0001
. That $6000 will make up the difference between what you pay each month and what MB takes out of the bank account.
A little confusing...but a much better and safer way to use that down payment money.
I concur with everything said by @ghstudio. Don't make a down payment to lower your monthly payment.

My current lease for a 2012 E350 matures in 6 months. My dealer sent a letter offering $3,500 as a Summer Event Bonus and $1,750 as a Preferred Customer Bonus. Can these be added to my USAA discount?
Many thanks.
