Can you please advise MF and residual for a 2014 JGC Laredo 4x4, 36 and 39 mo., at 12K miles? Thanks!!
BTW, I have been using this forum for many years and have leased probably 6 vehicles over the years and saved THOUSANDS, I am sure, because of the info here. THANKS ALL!!!
Hey Guys, Please note that there is $4500 regional lease bonus cash available on the 2014 JGC (see incentives page on Edmunds) if you don't use Chrysler Capital. You have to ask specifically for it: Have yet to have it offered since the dealer steers you to their in house captive finance arm (Chrysler capital) which offers a lower MF (per sales guy) but the higher MF is way better for buyer with $4500 off cost....I beleive you can also stack the $1000 Jeep cash too...
I'm not seeing that anymore on the incentives page. You mentioned "regional". I'm in Atlanta. Any insight? THANKS!

I got the discount by leasing through first bank. It isn't listed anymore but somehow the dealer managed it so it's worth a try. I'm in Missouri.
Wondering how this offer stacks up - 2014 Laredo Altitude (4x2), 36/mo lease, 12K miles/yr - $1500 total drive off (first mo payment, tax, title fees, etc included) and $400 (flat, tax included) per month. Located in the Southern California area. Thanks!

We need both the MSRP and the negotiated selling price in order to fully evaluate the deal. And, we only have numbers for Chrysler Finance; if this lease is through any other bank or finance company, we won't be able to verify anything.

Sorry about that - MSRP of $36,585. Did not negotiate a selling price, so assuming they are using the MSRP in the lease calculation.

Well, the MF is .00014 and the RV is 50% for 36/12. If I use the MSRP and selling price you've stated above, I get a pre-tax payment of $515.81/mo.
So, there is more to your offer of $400 with tax (9%, right?) than meets the eye. Either they've discounted the car heavily or they are using a different finance company.
Hi! Wondering if the following lease deal is good? 2014 GC Limited 4x4 w/ 20" wheels, MSRP $42975, sale price ($100 over invoice) $41081, 12k miles, $542/mo for 36 months, $905 due at signing, Indianapolis area. Thank you!

The best numbers this month are for 39 months (.00020 MF and 52% RV for 36/12). With your selling price and MSRP, I calculate a pre-tax payment of $493.04/mo for 39 months.
There might be room to do better with your dealer.
Thanks for all of the avail info. On a 2014 JGC limited 4x4, the dealer is finally using the MF of .00020 (dealer swore that it was .00125 until I walked). For a 39 month lease, I think you advised previously that the correct RV is 52% for 12k/yr. Please let me know what the RV is for 15k/yr. Thanks!
Hi! Is this a good lease deal? MSRP $46880, sale price $41956, 12k miles, $475/mo for 39 months, $2450 down ($1700 trade-in + $750 cash), Indianapolis area. Thank you!

Is this still for the Limited 4x4?
Is the $2450 down being used to reduce the cap cost, or for other up front costs (fees, taxes, etc.)?
If I use your MSRP and selling price with the .00020 and 52% residual I quoted you earlier, I get a pre-tax payment of $501.56/mo.
The $475/mo quote looks good (especially if it includes tax), but I'd ask about what the $2450 is being used for.
What is the Money Factor and Residual Value for September on a 2014 JGC Overland 4x2 and 4x4 and Limited 4x4 and 4x2 for a 36 mth lease. 15k and 12 miles in Los Angeles CA?

Without the selling price it's hard to evaluate the offer you were given.
In NY, the tax for a lease is computed up front and can be added to the cap cost.
2014 Limited 4x4 numbers this month are .00020 and 52% for 39/12.
Looking for MF and residual for 2014 JGC Overland Diesel in Wash DC area. Both 10K and 12K miles and either 36 or 39 months. Thanks in advance.
39 months is the sweet spot this month.
39/12 - .00017 and 50%. Add 1% for 10K
51% for 10K per year seems low - thought is was at 56% last month for 36 months (want to confirm you are providing the numbers for the diesel).
Can you also provide numbers for the Limited Diesel as well? Thanks again.
The numbers absolutely can change from month to month .. if I remember correctly, there was a promotion last month on the diesels where the residual was inflated.
Just looked - yes, the 36/10 residual on the Overland diesel was 56% in August and 59% for the Limited diesel.
This month, the 4x4 Limited diesel numbers for 39/10 are 53% and .00009

Also, looking at this same vehicle - 2015 for that: MF= .001310 Residual = 54% MSRP = 38,428 they take out 1,500 for rebates and then it goes back up due to acq & doc fee
Really like these cars, but I want the best deal. Thank you!!

Let's work the second deal first. I confirm both the .00131 MF and 39/12 residual of 54% for the Trailhawk. What is the negotiated selling price before the rebates are applied and the doc and acq fees are added back in?
For the 2014, I again confirm the .00010 MF and 49% residual for 39/12. Are you saying you negotiated a selling price of $36,900 before the $1500 rebate? The doc fee and acq fee together can't add up to $1500 - can it?
If I use the $38,754 as the MSRP and $35,400 as the cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $426.22/mo for 39 months.

Thanks for the info- here are the answers:
2nd deal 1st (2015) - The negotiated selling price before rebates/doc/acq = $37,000.
1st deal (2014) -Yes, $36,900 is the negotiated selling price -Per the disclosure I have, the fees are as follows: $45 for tax on cap cost reduction $69 title & reg $699.99 doc fee $895 acq fee ------- $1,708.99
Something is going on here isn't it? They inflate the price on that 1st deal w/ added costs?
-I would rather the 2015 model, but want the best deal. And I believe both payments should be lower.
Last question (for now:-) - Is 39 months/12K miles their best deal? Should I be considering 36 or 27 months or perhaps 10K miles? I will drive 12K, but does Jeep do well with early turn ins.

Ouch - $699.99 doc fee? That hurts. I'd try like heck to negotiate a price that mitigates the amount.
And, the acq fee is marked up. Base acq fee from Chrysler is $595.
With the MSRP and selling price you've provided for the 2015 model, I get a pre-tax payment of $492.29/mo for 39 months.
27 month leases are also being supported by Chrysler this month.
For 2015 Trailhawk, the numbers are .00096 and 59%. This would take your pre-tax payment to $587.93.

Thank you! I will negotiate those items. Based on what you know about the lease deals & the vehicles, would you go w/ a 2014 or a 2015? Any other ideas on getting more of a discount? I feel like the right price for this vehicle is 450/mo for 39 months 12K miles.
1 more question- does it make sense to do a 10K mile lease? i.e. is Jeep good at turning in cars early and does a 10K mile lease have better residual & mf that make it a good choice??

There doesn't seem to be much difference in the numbers on a 2014 vs. 2015 - the 2014 has a lower MF and residual, so it's pretty much a wash.
Add 1% to the residual for a 10K lease; no difference in MF. Again, not a huge difference in the monthly payment.
Got some numbers from the Jeep dealer in Danbury, CT yesterday. It was for a 2014 Limited, and the lease was through Ally. 39 months/ 15k miles a year, the residual was 51% and the money factor was .00258 - that's 6.2%! It had strong rebates of $5750, but that money factor was just ruining the deal. Are others seeing similar money factors?
Comments
I can't find the specific number, but it's usually in the range of $.10-.25 per mile.

.00020 and 48% for 39/15. 36 month lease numbers from Chrysler are not competitive this month.

In NY, the tax for a lease is computed up front and can be added to the cap cost.
2014 Limited 4x4 numbers this month are .00020 and 52% for 39/12.

Can you also provide numbers for the Limited Diesel as well? Thanks again.
Just looked - yes, the 36/10 residual on the Overland diesel was 56% in August and 59% for the Limited diesel.
This month, the 4x4 Limited diesel numbers for 39/10 are 53% and .00009

in Charlotte, NC
Trailhawk V6 (4x4)
39 months
12K miles/yr
Residual - 49%
MF = .0001
MSRP = 38,754
Selling Price - 36,900 - 1500 rebates
Adj Cap Cost = 38,754
Monthly Pymt = 484.32
Also, looking at this same vehicle - 2015
for that:
MF= .001310
Residual = 54%
MSRP = 38,428
they take out 1,500 for rebates and then it goes back up due to acq & doc fee
Really like these cars, but I want the best deal. Thank you!!
I'm looking for the residual and MF for a '14 GC Altitude 4x4. 36 month -15K miles in Massachusetts. Thanks!

39 month numbers are much better this month from Chrysler.

2nd deal 1st (2015)
- The negotiated selling price before rebates/doc/acq = $37,000.
1st deal (2014)
-Yes, $36,900 is the negotiated selling price
-Per the disclosure I have, the fees are as follows:
$45 for tax on cap cost reduction
$69 title & reg
$699.99 doc fee
$895 acq fee
-------
$1,708.99
Something is going on here isn't it? They inflate the price on that 1st deal w/ added costs?
-I would rather the 2015 model, but want the best deal. And I believe both payments should be lower.
Last question (for now:-) - Is 39 months/12K miles their best deal?
Should I be considering 36 or 27 months or perhaps 10K miles? I will drive 12K, but does Jeep do well with early turn ins.
Thanks again!!

Thanks again!!!
Add 1% to the residual for a 10K lease; no difference in MF. Again, not a huge difference in the monthly payment.
