Got some numbers from the Jeep dealer in Danbury, CT yesterday. It was for a 2014 Limited, and the lease was through Ally. 39 months/ 15k miles a year, the residual was 51% and the money factor was .00258 - that's 6.2%! It had strong rebates of $5750, but that money factor was just ruining the deal. Are others seeing similar money factors?
non-Chrysler leases are famous for this ... more lease cash to reduce the cap cost but a much higher MF in return.
We only have Chrysler numbers, so cannot comment on what you were quoted through Ally.

.00020 MF and 52%/50% residual for 39mo, 12K/15K/yr.
Just looking to re-verify - can you provide latest numbers for both 2014 Overland Diesel and 2014 Overland non-diesel, both 10K and 12K, Wash DC area (I assume 39 mo is still the most favorable term right now). Thanks again.

Hi! looking to see if I'm getting a good deal or not here in NY. '14 JGC Limited 4x4 with Lux II plus Nav. Finance through Chrysler. MSRP $44,290 Cap Cost including taxes $42,429 Term 39 months/10k mileage Nothing out of pocket other than 1st months payment which is $499.
Looking for some help here. I want to lease a jeep grand cherokee overland ecodiesel. I was told monthly payments with 0 down would be over $700. For 15k per yr. The price of vehicle was told to be $42,250. Doesn't seem right to me.

MF is .00020 and residual is 53% for 39/10.
With your MSRP and cap cost, I calculate a pre-tax payment of $499.21, so that matches your numbers pretty closely.

What is the MSRP?
The payment does seem high, but without all the numbers we can't review them.
hi wondering if you can look at this deal and let me know what you think:
jeep overland 4x4 msrp $47,585 36 months $421/month, 15k miles
I am trading an 08 accord and getting 8k for it which i'm just applying the whole thing (I know, i know) (I'm happy with the amount, the vehicle has 140k miles on it)
that'll take care of all the fees, first payment, etc as well.

Of the $8k, how much is going to cap cost reduction? Every $1000 is $28/mo on your payment.
The numbers absolutely can change from month to month .. if I remember correctly, there was a promotion last month on the diesels where the residual was inflated.
Just looked - yes, the 36/10 residual on the Overland diesel was 56% in August and 59% for the Limited diesel.
This month, the 4x4 Limited diesel numbers for 39/10 are 53% and .00009
Looking for MF and residual for 2014 JGC Overland Diesel in Wash DC area. Both 10K and 12K miles and either 36 or 39 months. Thanks in advance.
39 months is the sweet spot this month.
39/12 - .00017 and 50%. Add 1% for 10K
51% for 10K per year seems low - thought is was at 56% last month for 36 months (want to confirm you are providing the numbers for the diesel).
Can you also provide numbers for the Limited Diesel as well? Thanks again.

Hi - sorry, my last post got goofed up.
I just wanted to confirm the numbers you provided as another very helpful poster answered my question with different information. Both look good, but I am looking at a vehicle and want to be prepared with the right MF and Residual.
Looking for a 2014 Overland v6 with tech package in NYC. Went shopping today and the best I come out with is 525 a month 2000 down for 10k or 539 for 12k.
The MSRP is 51,380. Sorry was at a dealer and called over to the other and they gave me this over the phone so don't have cap cost or money factor.
So, silly question - does the .0002 MF equal a .5% interest rate? .0002 x 2400
Yes... 0.48%
Thanks, I had a missing decimal and was reading it as 4.8.
Is there any reason other than an unknowledgeable salesperson who would say, " you won't like the lease deals on the jeep - the interest rates are really high". A ~.5% rate sounds terrific.
To me it just sounds like a sales guy who doesn't know what he's talking about (sad because I've worked with him before and liked him). Don't quite get if you'd asset an opinion if you don't know if it's true.

Most salespeople in domestic makes aren't all that knowledgeable about leasing. Couple that with the multiple banks that CJD dealers use, and that some models really do have high rates (Wranglers), and you end up with a lot of anecdotal "knowledge".
Sorry for blowing up the forum. Is the Acquisition Fee $595? I haven't been able to find info on whether there even is one, except in this forum - that and that the dealer was marking it up to $895.
I expect the dealer I'm working with to do the same...so I want to have the correct amount ready.

Base acquisition fee is $595 through Chrysler finance ... and dealers can mark it up on you.

Thank you. I expect this dealer to try (they tried when I was trying to lease a BMW from a sister dealership).
Hi, great intel here. I was hoping that someone could help me with this question:
Is there a difference in residual or MF in the 2014 v 2015s?
We're interested in a 4x2 Limited with Hemi (we have a 2012 Laredo E with hemi), don't care if this ones a '14 or ' 15. It seems that the vast majority of '15s are v6s.

Can you please provide the money factor and residual on a 2014 Limited in NJ for a 39 month lease needing 10k miles per year? Also, how do these figures compare to the 2015s? Thanks.
I'm looking to get a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I live in Los Angeles CA. The MSRP is $41,895.00 for 3 years with 12,000 miles per year. What is a good deal for down and monthly payment. Please help. I want no more than $2k down

The first thing to do is negotiate your best price - that, more than anything, will determine what your monthly payment is.
The base MF and residual for a 2014 JGC Limited 4x2 (I assume you want 4x2) is .00009 and 50% for 39 months and 12,000 miles per year.
