Just looking to re-verify - can you provide latest numbers for both 2014 Overland Diesel and 2014 Overland non-diesel, both 10K and 12K, Wash DC area (I assume 39 mo is still the most favorable term right now). Thanks again.

2014 Overland Gas 4X4: .00012 MF and 50% residual

Add 1% for 10K/yr.

Looking for some help here. I want to lease a jeep grand cherokee overland ecodiesel. I was told monthly payments with 0 down would be over $700. For 15k per yr. The price of vehicle was told to be $42,250. Doesn't seem right to me.

What dealer was this they gave me numbers at $530 for same truck for same price and terms.

MF is .00020 and residual is 53% for 39/10.

With your MSRP and cap cost, I calculate a pre-tax payment of $499.21, so that matches your numbers pretty closely.

Of the $8k, how much is going to cap cost reduction? Every $1000 is $28/mo on your payment.

thanks, but odd. The page before this one had quoted what I put above - looking specifically at the diesel.

Also - is there any info on a "regular" Cherokee? Limited, 4x4. 10k either 36 or 39 mos (whatever is the sweet spot)

39 months is the sweet spot this month.

39/12 - .00017 and 50%. Add 1% for 10K

Hi - sorry, my last post got goofed up.

I just wanted to confirm the numbers you provided as another very helpful poster answered my question with different information. Both look good, but I am looking at a vehicle and want to be prepared with the right MF and Residual.

Are the 2014 4x4 Limited Diesel numbers:

53% and .00009

or

55% and .00020

Looking for a 2014 Overland v6 with tech package in NYC. Went shopping today and the best I come out with is 525 a month 2000 down for 10k or 539 for 12k. 

The MSRP is 51,380. Sorry was at a dealer and called over to the other and they gave me this over the phone so don't have cap cost or money factor.

Thanks, I had a missing decimal and was reading it as 4.8.

Is there any reason other than an unknowledgeable salesperson who would say, " you won't like the lease deals on the jeep - the interest rates are really high". A ~.5% rate sounds terrific.

To me it just sounds like a sales guy who doesn't know what he's talking about (sad because I've worked with him before and liked him). Don't quite get if you'd asset an opinion if you don't know if it's true.

Most salespeople in domestic makes aren't all that knowledgeable about leasing. Couple that with the multiple banks that CJD dealers use, and that some models really do have high rates (Wranglers), and you end up with a lot of anecdotal "knowledge".

I expect the dealer I'm working with to do the same...so I want to have the correct amount ready.

Is there a difference in residual or MF in the 2014 v 2015s?

We're interested in a 4x2 Limited with Hemi (we have a 2012 Laredo E with hemi), don't care if this ones a '14 or ' 15. It seems that the vast majority of '15s are v6s.

Looking for a 36/10 in fla.

2015: .00081 MF and 54% residual (39 month residual is 52%)

2014: .00009 MF and 51% residual for 39 months. (36 month program is not as good).

Ok, so 2014 $44k sicker, 51% residual is $22.4. Get 10% off sticker . That leaves $17,160 / 39 = $440 per month.

Add interest (residual + cap * .00009) = $6.

Total payment = $445 + tax. Sound correct?

The first thing to do is negotiate your best price - that, more than anything, will determine what your monthly payment is.

The base MF and residual for a 2014 JGC Limited 4x2 (I assume you want 4x2) is .00009 and 50% for 39 months and 12,000 miles per year.

When you get a selling price, we can model a payment for you.
