Michaell or kyfdx, I've seen numbers back and forth on MF and residual. I just want to make sure I'm clear on the car and options I'm considering. What is the MF and residual for:

2015 A4, Premium Plus, quattro, manual transmission, 36 months and 10k miles/year.

Also, do the option packages impact the MF or residual?

@Michaell‌ it's a 2014 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Premium Sedan (Since its manual transmission).

The dealer offered me 375$ a month including tax with $2000 downpayment for 36 months with 12k miles per year. I was wondering if that's a fair deal for the car?

Audi does not adjust numbers for transmission choice.

I'm pricing a 36month/12k 2015 Audi A4 AWD w/ Navigation using the Edmunds Lease calc. Put the TrueCar avg price of $42.2k, used the MF and Residual given above, and included 1k loyalty incentive and it came to $612per month + taxes.

Seems high- can someone let me know what I'm missing in the calc, thanks!

Thank you. So I gather you calc the residual off the msrp and not the buying price. If so I get $551/mo after taxes in NJ (not counting title/registration fees). Still higher than the 400ish I'm looking for so I'll have to take a look @ the TLX, Q50 etc. Thanks

Correct - residual is based on MSRP.

Audi's tend not to lease as well as other makes. Good luck!

Yes, add 1% to the residuals if AudiCare is purchased. I've heard it's a smart investment, based on the regular maintenance costs to keep an Audi healthy.

Audi numbers are national, and don't adjust based on transmission type/

Hi All, looking for a little feedback on a deal I have been offered recently, the dealer seems to be relatively straightforward in providing the numbers. Your feedback is much appreciated since I have been reading the postings and see people are very helpful on here! Here's the offered deal:

2015 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T Tiptronic
36months/12K
MSRP: $39,0XX
RV: 55%
MF: 0.00048
Cap. Cost: 36,8XX
Out of pocket: $800.00
Monthly pmt: $455.00

According to dealership, this deal includes all taxes, registration and fees.
I am not sure what Total Sales Tax of $1,800 included in this is for (I thought you pay monthly tax on payment).

Any advice or feedback anyone can provide would be great. Would have to get the car before Jan.8th and it is in stock.

Sales tax on a lease is dependent on what state you live in.

Ahh, just understood it, it is the total amount, but paid monthly and adds up to that exact figure they quoted.  Thank you for your input.

any thoughts on the offer I got?  Is this something to pursue or just lukewarm and I could do better?

We haven't received the January Audi lease numbers, so I can't yet comment on the offer you've been made.

.00029 MF and 52% residual for 36mo, 12K/yr. Using the selling price as the CAP cost, and the dealer numbers, I get $583/mo.+tax.

Using my numbers, I get $545/mo.+tax.

When you say "zero down" do you mean actually $0 due at signing? If so, you have to add 1st payment and acquisition fee to the CAP cost. Also, if the residual is 53%, I'd guess you added the AudiCare maintenance plan.. That is another $860.

Audi allows their dealers to mark up the base rate by as much as .00125. It appears they've marked up your rate by .00075 (or, added .00050 to waive the acq.fee, and a smaller markup).

It sure looks like they are marking up the money factor.. which is not unusual, but also not desirable..

Arizona. Is the .00029 mf the current number being used by Audi Financial Services? If so, how often do they change it? By the way, your information is very helpful. There is more to know when you negotiate a lease vs negotiating a straight purchase.

Yes, it's current. The numbers are updated monthly (though, they don't necessarily change).

I can't make the numbers work... base MF is .00029.
Is it 36mo, 12K/yr?

I certainly wouldn't pay for 6 months of a lease that I didn't get to use...
