May I please know the New England/Boston area MF and RV for 2014.5 TCH XLE for both 24 mos. and 36 mos. lease terms. When will these values expire?

Finally: Is there a publicly accessible way to learn this information, or is it proprietary?

How many miles per year? I show 69% for 24mo/12k. I can't find any 36mo RV's

MF is .00001. $1500 lease cash for 24mo and $1000 for 36mo.

Numbers look to be good through 9/2.

Your information is curious because MF/RV are not announced, even to dealers, until the beginning of the month, so it's interesting that you would have numbers in July that are good until 9/2. Advertised local lease deals I am seeing (in July) from Toyota are valid only until 8/4.

In addition, some local lease deals I am seeing mention $1,800 in subvention for 24 mos. and $1,250 for 36 mos. while others says $1,500 for both 24 and 36 mos. It's all so confusing.

I don't see why TFS' own MF and RV are not public information. If I understand correctly, these are set by TFS and are not negotiable. So why the big secret?

After doing a lot of research, I can report the following numbers which are applicable in the six New England states until 8/4/2014:

2014.5 TCH XLE - TFS Lease - 12,000 miles per year

24 month lease residual is 67%
36 month residual is 58%

The above was obtained from Motor Trend and Automobile Magazine. It is consistent with TFS's own published lease deals for 2014.5 TCH LE, where I calculated 66.4% and 57.7% on 24 and 36 month leases, respectively.

The same two sources published an interest rate of 0.024% (honestly, why bother?) which translates to a money factor of 0.0001

The above offers are not eligible for the $1,750 TFS cash or the $750 TFS bonus cash rebates, which are only available to buyers.

Instead, TFS offers a Lease Cash rebate. I have not been able to pin down the amount of this rebate, because New England dealers advertise anything from $500 to $2,000 on their websites. According to TFS' own published lease deals for 2014.5 TCH LE, the rebates are $1,000 and $1,800 for 24 and 36 month leases, respectively. This may or may not also apply to XLE.

Finally, according to Consumer Reports, the TDA (Toyota Dealer Advertising) fee for TCH XLE (at least) is $443. I haven't been able to corroborate this, however.

This information, along with MSRP and invoice price, are everything you need to know in order to make or evaluate a lease offer on 2014.5 TCH XLE. At this time of the year (July) your offer is based on less than invoice.

There is a dealer in MA with the following lease terms. 2014 Camry Hybrid XLE MSRP of $30,000. $0 down monthly pmts $224. Term 3 years. Had been working local dealer whose best deal was at $500 down and $285 month. The MA dealer is not close to where I live but would travel if turns out be correct. have called the dealer but was unable to connect with the sales rep today. Any thoughts? Can lease terms vary that wildly around the US?

Toyota has a lot of regions, with a lot of different buying/leasing incentives. But, some deals aren't good, if you don't live in that region, so traveling may not help you, if that is the case.

Also, beware of non-TFS leases. A lot of independent banks/credit unions seem to offer leases in the Northeast, and that may raise other issues at lease end.

It's definitely worth looking into, unless you live so far away that you can't drive the car home in one day.

That is a great discount from sticker! With your MSRP and selling price, and using the MF and RV I quoted above, I get a pre-tax payment of $124.58/mo for 36 months. Can't imagine the tax rate is so high that the payment jumps to $188.

With that said, < $200/mo for a $24K car is still a great deal.

$1119 works out to about $31/mo more - so the new pre-tax number is about $155/mo before taxes.

Using your numbers, I get a pre-tax payment of $251.49/mo, so if your quote of $263/mo is with taxes, it looks right in line.

You might be able to negotiate a lower selling price, though I don't know what the current market for the Camry is like.

No room on the MF - that equates to .02%, so essentially free money to lease.

Thanks again all for your help. Going tonight to make a deal on a 2014.5 Camry SE with moonroof. Dealer agreed to $4000 off before rebates so if my math is correct, I'm looking at about $170 per month for 24 mos with 12k mi, using a MF of 0.0001 and RV of 66%!

66% Residual. In theory, residual percentages are applied to the full MSRP. But, Toyota doesn't residualize all options. The only way to know the specific residual on a certain unit is to ask the dealer.

Dealers here are pricing the car to their liking. I tried calling a couple, over the phone they are not giving me a number or they will not a negotiate lower lease quote. Even if I get it at invoice at $22,825 -2k rebate and -$750 grad rebate the lease should be $172, this seems reasonable to me and I was hoping it would be quick and easy but its not.

Is Texas part of the Gulf States Distributor? If so, I doubt any numbers we have would be valid there.

In other areas of the country that use TFS, we are seeing .00085 MF and 65% residual. Your numbers may (and probably will) vary.

For the 2014.5 Camry SE , I see in a prior post the numbers are .00001 MF and 66% residual for 24/12K. Are those numbers the same for the Cincinnati area?
